Dries heavy loads quickly. Large capacity. Easy to use. Very quiet. No end of cycle buzzer :(

This dryer is awesome. Our last dryer took 2 1/2 hours to dry clothes, this on takes about 50 minutes or less depending on the load. It is quiet, and easy to use. Several energy efficient setting and other setting to. Will do just about any load you could need. Would highly recommend this dryer for purchase, and you can't beat the price for the performance you get.

This is a matter of you get what you pay for. I needed as inexpensive as possible, and for that it has worked very well. I miss having any bells and whistles though, as this is as bare bones as you can get in a dryer, including no buzzer when it is done. However, it works very well.

I walked in intent on buying the absolute cheapest dryer they had. Unfortunately they were out of stock on that one so I got the second cheapest, which is this baby. I got it home, got it hooked up and, whaddya want me to say? It dried my clothes. It did a great job of drying my clothes. The real test of the machine, I guess, is it's automatic mode, and this one worked perfectly. Didn't matter if I threw in blankets, blue jeans, old shoes, a stuffed narwhal, whatever. They came out perfectly dry after one cycle. OK, so it's cheap, and it doesn't include bells and/or whistles. It's doesn't have a clear glass door, so you can't watch your clothes dry. So sorry. I know that's a thing you like to do. It doesn't have a manual heat setting, so no low heat or fluff settings or whatever. But when you ask for the cheapest dryer in the store, you're not really expecting it to come with an external sock warmer, 3 cupholders, and free XM Radio for 3 months. It does what it does in a most excellent way. It is not loud, and it is stable, not shaky. It's not made out of solid gold, so points off for quality, I guess. I mean, it's a dryer, it's sheet metal and plastic. Sorry, no carbon fiber here. It looks very plain, but my laundry room is not currently being featured in Better Homes, nor is it a stop on the "guest tour" of the house, so no big deal. In other words, it's a cheap dryer that does what it says on the box, and it doesn't break the bank. If you can live without an attachable pants-press/panini-maker, or any of the other perks of owning a dryer that costs three times as much, then this is the guy for you.

For the price this is an excellent choice for a dryer. If you don't need all kinds of bells and whistles you will be very happy with this. I only care that it has two temps, hot and not as hot, and that it dries our clothes and it does. It am getting used to not having a light inside like our last one did but really, why do I need a light in the dryer? Occasionally the door was left open in the other dryer and it wasted electricity because it had a light in it. Now who cares if the door is left open? The capacity is HUGE. I dried a king size rather heavy comforter in it with NO problem. The ONLY thing I don't care for is that it is a bit hard to open the door. I am getting more used to it but it closes tight (good thing) and the indention/handle to grab to open it just doesn't seem to be deep enough to get the grip needed because it is tight. I am getting used to that though. Oh.........WARNING.........it does NOT come with a cord so you will either have to purchase one separately or take the one off your old non-working dryer like we did. We didn't notice that it didn't come with one when we ordered it. But for the price and capacity and the features, I would highly recommend this if you don't need all kinds of fancy settings.

I needed an inexpensive , but good quality dryer. this one had a good price but also had more features compared to similar dyers. easy set up and does dry well

I purchased this dryer out of necessity and for the price. It has been easy to use and very dependable and the clothes dry adequately when the proper cycle and time are selected.

My old dryer lasted 12 years and finally kicked the bucket. Of cource unexpectedly. So dropped by my local Best Buy to buy a Whirlpool I had researched online. Had an excellent experience. The appliance dept mgr helped me and was great. The Whirlpool was sold out, but he showed comparable models. We found the Amana in the open box section. It was brand new but had a small dent on the back metal plate. Who ever looks at the back of your dryer anyway. It was $75 off shelf price. So I said sold and load it up. It has been a great dryer for just a base model. Easy to use, quiet,and fast drying time. Would absolutly recomend this dryer if you looking for an economy model.

Clothes dry in a flash has lots of room in it and is very very quick at drying clothes. Installation was a breeze. Makes my gf want to wash my clothes even more which is good for me!

Love the product! Works great and gets the job done! Great value for the money! I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for an inexpensive item. It has enough cycles for my needs. We do laundry once a week which Is usually about 2 loads and it is great for our needs. Easy set up and very easy to use. We bought the washer and dryer set.

Had to get a dryer that had limited controls for a person that doesn't need special settings, this dryer was perfect. Large drum and easy load and access to clothes when done

Easy to use dryer, fairly quick dry cycle. energy efficent. only con is no buzzer when dryer is done with cycle.

This dryer is great economically. It's a great starter dryer for those looking for a dryer on a budget. It's easy to use and is great for the money.

Quiet as is. I made it quieter by placing a patch of rubber under each foot. Like a cut up rubber/crepe shoe sole. Best price from Best Buy!!

I have no issues with this Dryer. It was a good price. It works great and everything is dried fast. Even the engery preferred setting takes only 45 minutes to dry a large load of socks, shirts, slacks, etc. Of course towels take a bit longer.
