This clothes dryer does the job expected of it, not much in the way of "options" (which I have found are seldom if ever used anyway). The door latch is a bit tight, maybe use will result in a better fit. Door seems to be lightweight, not a solid feel to it when closing. The dryer is quiet enough for our use and needs, I was cautioned by sales staff at another store that I would want a dryer with extra insulation to ensure quiet operation. I saw that as a sales gimmick and buying this particular dryer has reinforced my thought on that. I think this dryer has a larger clothes capacity than the one replaced which was a plus. I prefer to spend extra money on things more fun than a clothes dryer....

This Amana dryer is sufficient for our needs. The drum is very large, which accommodates bedding and towels.
