    When my old dryer quit I just wanted something quick and inexpensive to replace it and I definitely found what I was looking for. This Amana dryer doesn't have lots of bells and whistles but it does what I want it to do perfectly well. It dries an extra large load of clothes in 40 minutes.

    I purchased this dryer due to the fact there's no electronics in it. After going through three top of the line Frigidaire dryers where the electronics failed I found this one which has two controls, a mechanical timer and a press-to-start switch. Simple to operate and easy to repair.

    When renting we had this brand and model in the laundry room of the house. We liked it so much that when we bought our home we decided to go with the same brand and model. This newer model has some better features such as water level sensor!
