I'd been promised via a phone conversation that there'd be no problem disconnecting our old gas dryer before installing the new electric one, but when the delivery people got here, they told us we'd been misinformed, and they wouldn't disconnect it, so my husband, though not very experienced, had to do it. We've only had the dryer now for about a month and a half, and it's already starting to make irregular noises--sounds like the balance of the dryer drum is off.

No matter load size or variety of garments. And yes I have tried all different dry settings. All end in a damp to down right wet load. That a second round does then dry.
