    It had been 15 years since the purchase of our last dryer. This model is certainly sufficient to dry clothes. The one thing it does not have is a buzzer to let you know the cycle is complete. Since we have not purchase one in so long we did not even think to check this. I thought all dryers had a signal. We returned it and go a Whirlpool which also make Amana. I would not recommend if a signal is important.

    Haven't tried all modes I just use the timed dry cycle, but for me that works good. Have only had dryer for 1 month so can't comment on reliability.

    Step up from a clothesline, which is what I wanted for less to break, however, the sensor is junk and laundry takes forever to dry, always needs to be rerun

    I love the fact I can set it to the proper setting and it does what what it is supposed to do. Great for a lower level unit. Would buy 2 if I needed them.

    We did have trouble getting the dryer vent hooked up. The vent that was given to us at the store was not the right one for our dryer.
