Take a while for clothes to dry. The door is hard to open. Because of this I now have no handle and I've had it for only 9 months.

I’ve had this for about a year now and would not recommend purchasing. It does great at first, but a few weeks later it starting to stop on auto sense and now I’m having to manually turn the knobs for a full wash.

A very basic dryer, but works better than my previous dryer, which was over loaded with bells and whistles and features I never used. For the price, a good value.

This dryer absolutely sucks. No matter what setting you use, you have to run the cycle at least twice to get it slightly dry. This is how it has been from the beginning, so it's not a question of whether my vents are clogged or anything. I also hate that it doesn't have a timer for choosing how long you want to dry something if you don't want to use the conventional cycles. Never will I buy this again. It definitely wasn't worth saving a few bucks when you have to dry something several times, and you can't anticipate that something will be dry when you expect it to be.

It is a good dryer so far. It was a cheaper model. The only thing I don’t like is the quality of the dryer metal. Very thin like the door and the knob to turn it on and off.

I don’t know why you guys keep sending me surveys about the washer and dryer when I’ve clearly expressed how dissatisfied I am with my purchase and the whole Best Buy experience. Specifically pertaining to how the dryer works, I have to add at least an additional half hour to each dryer cycle because the one hour still leaves my clothes slightly damp so that sucks. And I’m incredibly dissatisfied with the resolution to my entire experience. I will never buy appliances from Best Buy again. And I will continue to share my experience on social media and with my friends. I actually shared my experience with my boss and she had a similar one with Best Buy, she also got delivered a broken and used dryer, out of the box...so apparently this is how you do business.

I bought the Amana washer - dryer combination set. The dryer is fine. However, the washing machine auto sensing fill has not been working since the day we had it delivered. I have contacted Amana customer support at least a dozen times since having the problems after almost 4 weeks they are supposedly going to send someone to fix it. I won't know if it is fixed properly for awhile as the soonest they will send someone out is 2 months after the purchase date.

worst decision i have made in a long time. i decided to go ahead and get an electric dryer as my new home did not have a gas connection and i would have had to have one installed. this dud of a dryer takes at least 3 hours to dry a small to medium load of laundry. im into hour 3 right now on a small to medium load of socks and sweat pants on high heat. no where near dry yet. it had to be moved for a sewer lateral repair and i only used it a few times before having it disconnected for 3 weeks. now its too late to return it. im so sorry i bought this thing. an absolute piece of garbage.

This dryer is very basic but efficient. It has a large capacity and can hold queen sized blanket. The only thing I wish it had was an alert when cycle had ended.

Purchased as a bundle with washer. Drum would turn but no heat. Best Buy sent a serviceman to determine connection integrity and no issues found. Received replacement and same problem. Returned both the washer & dryer and was fully reimbursed by Best Buy. Purchased a different brand and finally have a dryer that works. First time experience with Amana, never again.

I have had this dryer for a year now and it is wonderful. It drys the clothes fast. It does not make a lot of noise.
