Controller for the fire stick, battery don't last long. Cover of batteries breaks really easy

Lost the remote to our Toshiba tv with amazon fire built in. The packaging and online info for this remote indicates it will work with ‘FireTV’. This claim is believable when they include the power channel and volume controls; but don’t be fooled. While this remote might work with Amazon FireTV, it WILL NOT work with the Toshiba TV with Amazon Fire.

Works great and easy to use, I wish the remote was s little bigger so it didn't slide between couch cushions.

My old remote got wet when rain came in a window during a quick storm. I was going to buy another Amazon stick at full price but the Best Buy salesman said I could just buy a new remote. I not only saved a lot of money but got a much better remote! It’s so nice to be able to push the mic button and say exactly what program or movie I want to see! It finds your show immediately! The original remote didn’t have that ability. Buy it! You’ll love this new remote!

Always need to have a 2nd due to the size with young kids. Really like the volume add. Syncs very easy.

Great product!! I’ve been using the Amazon fire stick for a few years... we recently lost our original and needed a replacement ASAP. I ran to Best Buy and fortunately they had this in stock; otherwise, I would have had to wait for one to get sent to me, which would’ve taken at least 2 days. Since I needed it ASAP, this was an easy decision! I had it set up in under 3 minutes (and I’m not the savviest with technology). Overall, great product! I’m very happy!

Love the volume control and the on/off for TV. Got it on sale for $14. Probably would not pay $29.99 though

We love this pruchase, we disconnected cable TV company whose pricing had gotten way out of control. Our savings were great. Loved teh Alexa vocie commands we could use. Like Utube TV when we got this the charge was only 52.00 a month soon after thought it jumped to 71.16. I guess it is a hook and bait liek so many other things. But the Alexa firestick worked perfectly.

This remote wasn't really needed but is a nice convenience. It was easy set up and since my Fire Cube was already set up to control my TV, I didn't have to do anything with the power or volume button on the remote for it to start working right away other than add a remote in the FireTV settings. I wish it could switch inputs on my TV also but maybe during the next remote upgrade.

Had to replace a failed unit. I like having volume control. Was very easy to set up the tv volume.

Dog ate the old remote. This was a worry free and instant replacement. Same as original and worked almost as soon as i opened the box. Batteries were included as well. Happy wife. Somehow it also programmed itself to my tv from the previous remote's settings. Instructions were simple and easy. Took less than 5 minutes from box open to full use.

My puppy had chewed up the remote that originally came with my Fire Stick, so I needed to replace it. It's great that we can get a replacement pretty easily, but the price is kind of nuts - the remote costs $29, which is only $10 less than a new Fire Stick. But still, if you don't want to set up a new Fire Stick, programming the replacement remote was super easy.

I purchased 2 replacement remotes for me and a family member. I didn’t realize we had different generation firesticks (1st gen & 2nd gen). The remote installed and worked PERFECTLY & quickly for the 2nd gen. And was an epic fail for the 1st gen- it wasn’t compatible, which I found out after 2+ hours of trying to get it to work. I wish it was easier to see and know which generation firestick it works with from the online descriptions :(.
