I don’t use the dot often, but when I do it’s great - I especially like being able to have weather status, alarms set, music play at any time, volume changed etc with a simple voice command

I have been enjoying using the Echo-Dot. We use it as a family to check on the weather, play Pandora, get newsflash updates, and setting alams for when we are cooking, baking, or letting the dog out.

Bought it as a gift and she loves it!. Great way to get the news, the weather, anything you need!

I bought this device to start my smart home. I didnt need the regular echo device because I already have a Wireless home theather system the easily connect via bluetooth. The device works as advertise.

Echo Dot is great. I have one in each room so I can talk to my children. My kids love Alexa. They are always asking her to tell them a joke. They also use Alexa to help with their homework!

I purchased this Amazon Dot for my son to use for his alarm clock and for his chores. Perfect!!

We set up Alexa and the Echo Dot for the first time today. Setup was moderate to easy. The app was the reference point for a lot of the content. Still have some learning to do for us and Alexa. Should be well worth it though. Actually headed back to BestBuy tonight to get a 2nd Dot for another room.

great product - we have several of these and the kids use them for music, alarms, weather, etc.

I mostly use it to tell me the weather in the mornings when I'm getting ready and to set up backup alarms when I stay up too late. For that it's perfect. I ended up buying a few for gifts.

This is a gift and the people loved it. They can listen to their music anywhere and hands free.

We use this in the dining room which is also our classroom for our homeschooled children. It is a great resource for quick lookups, to play music and to add supplies to our shopping list. We love it!

The speaker on this device is often played down, the speaker is plenty loud and if you want full house coverage getting multiples of this is far more price effective then a bunch of the larger Echos.

Bought one for myself and my dad loved it so much I picked one up for him too! We keep it in the kitchen and use it pretty much everyday for news/weather updates and a timer when cooking.

We bought the Dot to go along with our Echo. The echo is located in the living room and the dot is in the bedroom. The dot speakers are nowhere close to the bigger echo but with its blue tooth capability, you can use any blue tooth speaker to take the music with you. The dot is synced to the same account as the echo so it controls all the same smart devices. This is a plus as we can turn on/off any lights in the house from our bedroom, change temperature settings, etc... If you have a smart home, the Dot is a great way to use for voice control.

We bought this as a gift and it was one of the best gifts we bought in a long time. It controls many items via a WiFi plug, plays a huge variety of music and does so much more. The only bad thing is that to get the best benefits you should be a amazon prime member but overall well worth the money.

I have the original Alexis and Echo dot. They work great. The dot can be placed anywhere in the residence. I can set wake up calls, timer, grocery list, any music, songs, I can use it as a phone with other owners. I would recommend the Dot to everyone. great gift at a great price before Christmas.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift and was so bummed that I didn't get more than one. The set up is easy. The best and least expensive tech gadget on the market. Amazon hit the mark with this one.

We had looked at this for quite some time and finally decided to purchase it. It works great and is really fun to use! Alexa lets us know what the weather is, I can set and alarm and we okay music!
