I got this for my wife she loves it plays her favorite music on it all the time.

If you want to add on another Alexa for another room then this is the way go....

Good as an extension for My Amazon Echo Plus. Works better in small surroundings

Hooked up easily, does everything I need it to, controls smart things in the house. It is paired with external speaker if we need volume, otherwise the sound is fine for the size.

You can integrate with a lot of smart things that aren't necessarily just Amazon.

The perfect household appliance for when you're cleaning, cooking or just chilling. Pair this with an external Wifi speaker and being home alone gets enormously better.

Echo Dot is a smaller version of the popular Echo. It responds to all the same voice commands. It can be used on it's own, Plugged into a speaker using the 1/8 inch jack, or connected to a Bluetooth device. Sound from the dot is generally clear. It has nowhere near the dynamic range of a full-sized echo. We have several of these devices around the house. We use them as timers, to get news and information, and occasionally as an intercom. They connect quickly and easily using the Alexa app. Get it on sale, and it becomes a great value on a valuable home assitant.

This thing is pretty convenient even though I don't have a lot of home automation. I use it a lot for Amazon Music and Pandora, setting timers, as well as listening to podcasts.

I received one of these for Christmas and have really enjoyed using it. Very easy to set up and great for listening to music, checking the weather as well as many other features.

The Echo Dot is all as expected. It is definitely what someone in the market expect it to be. There is no surprise to this item. The set-up is pretty straight forward. I recommend to have Amazon Prime to get full use of it's features. The unit has a teaching tool so if you have an accent or say some words differently, Alexa would recognize. The speakers for the dot is not bad. I play music from it and sounds fine. Yes, you can definitely get better quality if picky and set it up to hook to a larger speaker via bluetooth or audio wire connection (sold separately). There is really no Cons that I can think of for the unit. Love it!

I really enjoy the Echo Dot. If I have a question or request, I just ask Alexa. Great on Saturday mornings when I am cleaning house to play music or when entertaining.

Hey, Alexa, write me a review! Why not, right? I'm not even sure how much this little thing will do yet, and it has already made my "How did I ever get along without this" list. I am having too much fun; I will update my review after I have explored its capabilities more.

Excellent addition to the household. We have one Alexa echo and two echo dots now and everything works in perfect harmony. The smart plugs, the Phillips hue lightbulbs, and every device that we have makes for an excellent smart home with the echo and echo dot at the helm.

It's fun using the echo dot. I have been asking questions and playing jeopardy.

Got this for my husband, and he loved it. He now can play music thru the house.

This is a great product and I love the intercom feature. However, amazon needs to improve the technology so it doesn't cache the 60 seconds clips. There is always a concern for data privacy and hoping we get to a true jarvis (Iron man) type of intelligence down the road.

We have several of these in the home. We are working in replacing them with full echo's. for the money and convenient they are great. Only wish the were abut louder in volume
