For a second room in the house. Easy to set up and connect to existing dot.

I thought it would be another useless gadget, but now I find myself using the Dot daily. The sound quality surprised me for the size which is perfect by the way.

I bought one to try because of the holiday promo price. Liked it so much I bought another. Can’t be beat for $30. Controls all my smart lights via Samsung SmartThings. Amazon music is also very good and now all I listen to. This is a no brainer if you have prime.

We have enjoyed the Echo Dot. It was a bit difficult to set up, but we turned to YouTube videos for help. We also had some trouble pairing our Bose SoundLink Revolve Bluetooth speaker. However, once we got it paired we have been quite satisfied.

This product is very easy to set up. The Dot is prefect size for the bedroom or small room. The bigger one is better for a larger room and has a better speaker.

Love the way you can ask questions and get and answer. Every morning I get the latest news and weather from my Echo dot, it stays in the kitchen all day. Love it!

I love my echo , great while cooking and cleaning. When my hands are dirty If I need music or to know something all I have to do is speak. Awesome little gadget.

I did get the dot instead of the big one. I have invested in a good audio system and i hooked up the dot. The speaker on the dot is good enough. The kids are loving it. I hooked it up with Philips Hue and Honeywell Lyric for my lighting and thermostat.

This is a small descent personal assistant that can answer almost all your questions. Put it in my son's room. He enjoys using while doing his homework, GK & alarm.

For the price this is really worth it. I use it all the time and makes things easy. Made my bedroom into a smart room. Turns lights off and wakes me up when I tell it to

i use mostly to play pandora while cooking cleaning etc. also like the grocery list maker the alarm clock and timers for cooking. you can also search for recipes too. tons of other features but these are what i use most and glad i got one. i was not disapointed.

Once you have Alexa you need it in every room... the dot does that cheaply

It gets a 5* for doing what it's supposed to and more. I already gotten one for my birthday and got another one when my girlfriend caught the flu recently because you can call other echos in the house. So while she was sick in the other room, she could call me if she needed anything. It's also great for news reports, weather, listening to music, etc. You need a subscription to Amazon prime or another music streaming service to really take advantage of which some people don't like but lets get real. It's the 21st century and almost everyone has at least one of these subscriptions.

Good product at a good price. I got it as a gift as I am already using this. Great for every day use, hands free reminders alarms shopping list & music

Easy set up, fun to play with. It has a lot of potential depending on how much control you want to allow it to have. Great for music and it has games as well.

This product is the previous generation but does all the expected functions as described in the website. If you are font of latest edition, you might prefer 3rd generation, but 2nd is good enough if you prefer saving some money.
