The echo dot is easy to set up and use. Speaker audio is not as good as the full echo but easily overcome by pairing a Bluetooth speaker.

I have several of these scattered around the house, and I feel this is the best all-around budget smart speaker. The Echo is now competing with the Google Home, and while I hear that Google has better responses at times, this Echo interfaces with more devices and has a 3.5mm line-out to connect it to a better speaker. This enables me to have a cheap smart speaker but also have decent sound when I want it. The line-out is critical when you want multi-home audio with other Echo's since Bluetooth is not supported in this mode.

So nice to hear my music, turn off lights, get the we a.d ther, set alarm, ask questions etc. Love this. Now have 3 in my home

My wife bought one for me for my birthday in June and she has been using it more than me. I decided to buy another one for the bedroom for the drop in option so we are not screaming across the house. Works best when you have Prime.

My daughter enjoys her echo dot. She uses it to play music, set timers, tell jokes, and tell her the weather. There's always something new to do.

Check the weather, listen to music, check a recipe , all as fast as you can ask, kids love listening to animal sounds and getting facts.

Very easy to useGreat little product has a few glitches Over all pretty easy to use do you only problem is Amazon they are a nightmare one minute you have Music on your.next minute you don’t and it takes weeks to get your account straightened out but I love the product

Bought one for each of our kids for Christmas. They are great for small spaces like bedrooms and dorms. They are a little slower to respond than the Echo, and the sound isn't as rich but you can't beat the price!

We love our echo,ask about the weather,time,play a radio station etc.. I really want to upgrade eventually but for now this works great.

I purchased these for my grand children. They loved them! Alexa's name can be changed to echo. Plays music, answers questions, and can wake you up. Plenty of opportunities to update and turn your dumb home into a smart home.

I have these throughout my house and love them. Great for small spaces if you want music. If you have a larger room go bigger.

Love this little thing. Great sound from such a small device. The only 2 cons is that Alexa sometimes has a hard time understanding southern accents. It would also be neat if it was rechargeable for more mobility.

The Amazon Echo Dot is GREAT! She turns on lights, plays music and tells jokes! Amazon charging so little makes it that much more enjoyable.

I gave all my kids Alexa for Christmas. We enjoy smart home technology, music, news and trivia. My new favorite thing is messaging via Alexa. Each evening we leave each other messages. I love hearing their voices when I get home.

Just beginning to learn what is possible. Sounds great.
