This little device comes in handy when you have multiple rooms in your place and the main Alexa device is out of range. The dot syncs up with the Alexa echo perfectly and can be used as a sound amplifier to communicate with Alexa. The speaker quality leaves something to be desired. However for $30 who can really complain?

I love A-L-E-X-A (don’t say the name or she will do things). There was that one time where she thought we said something and then added a boat and presidential highlighters to our shopping list. But seriously, she is great!

I use my Echo daily to listen to music, get updates of news, check the weather or to just hear a silly joke or fact. Great price of $29.99, This is my second Echo. I have one for my living room area and one in the bedroom.

I have this hooked up to an older Bose speaker for better sound. In a few hours I had this controlling lights, music and HVAC. When combined with our existing Echo, we also have a whole house music system.

This Amazon echo is the least expensive of the bunch and therefore its speakers are not the greatest. Still, for all it does, it is a bargain. I own two of these small dots, placed strategically in the house for quick Alexa news briefs and updates. It is fun to use and I anticipate buying more. They also make great gifts.

It works as expected. It does everything it should.

The echo dot is very easy to use, and very handy. It can be used with ifttt, (if this then that) app which allows the echo dot to do even more than it already does. IFTTT has applets one of which i use to find my phone when the ringer is turned off. Through ifttt it can unsilence my phone and then call it so it can be found. This is just one example of the many things that can be done with the echo dot. I am very pleased with the purchase of this device and plan on buying more in the future for other rooms in my house.

We bought this for my son, so he could have his own device in addition to the Echo we use for the main house. He loves using it to get information and to explore new music that he hears on the radio. The sound is good enough to be heard clearly in one room, which is perfect, since it's located in his room for him to use.

I purchased more Amazon Dot's so that I could have one in each room. It is nice to be able to call the other devices around the house so that I don't have to yell for the kids anymore. They play music independently from each other which has been great for family. Supposedly you can link the sound together between devices but I haven't tried that yet. I do with the speaker was better but what do you expect for the price. I have connected one to a BT speaker, another to an old Ipod dock and another to an old boombox. They sound great using those items. On there own though the sound is lacking. The kids like being able to set alarms and timers. I just purchased more to have in more rooms. I love these little things.

Got this for her after her Thanksgiving visit. She loved my Google Home and since her parents have a Amazon Prime account they suggested the Echo. I'm anxious to hear what the think and how it compares to the Google Home.

My grandson asked for the DOT for Christmas. It's affordable and easy to setup. I already own my own Echo from a Father's day gift. It wows people whenever they visit and I'm a bit of a tech junkie for these devices.

I love it ! the dot is small and easy to set up the sound is not bad i linked it with my UE boom speaker and love them both even more now
