If you have young children it can be a little frustrating as they tend to compete for controlling the device and there is no way to have Alexa ignore a command given to it. Specialty command lines can be confusing if you don't get the studying right. Overall, it is useful for most things and the music services it connects to allow for a wide variety of entertainment.

Echo for music

She liked it a lot and use it primarily for music. I set it up for her and having spotify she can ask Alexa a song that she knows from way back her younger years. I have one as well and it's all connected for a smart home and works good with smartthings hub and philips hue.
