Very good for home automation, for anything else?

Its pretty cool for just saying "Alexa, turn on my kitchen lights". Integrates with all the large players in home automation, Wink, Smartthings, Philips Hue, etc. Its also works well as a bluetooth speaker, streaming from your phone or tablet. It also streams Pandora and radio stations via TuneIn. It doesn't do anything useful other than that, besides simple queries about weather, etc.
