I have this a three because I followed the quick instructions and I could only turn the TV on or off… I have to use a second remote to scroll..I haven’t figured out how to get all the functions in one remote….

Hello Jmarquez56! Thank you so much for your time and feedback! You can reset your Fire TV remote by pressing and holding simultaneously the Home button, the Go Back button, and Left on the directional pad for a full 30-60 seconds. This will reset it and you can then try to use it again. You may need to unplug power to your Fire Stick for 30 seconds and plug it back to restart it as well. I do hope this fixes your issue so you can go back to using one remote and that you have a fantastic day!

The stick itself work good BUT the remote control has issues. You’ll have to press several times for it to respond and this is the second one with the same issue.

Hi CUSTOMER, thank you for providing feedback on Fire TV Stick 4K Max. I am sorry to see that you have had difficulty with the remote control not responding. Given that this is your second remote control and the same issue, I would recommend the following steps: 1. Even if the batteries seem fine, try replacing them with new, alkaline batteries, as older batteries can cause issues. 2. Ensure the remote is within 10 feet of the Fire TV device, as distance can affect signal strength. 3. Confirm that previous remotes are not still paired to the Fire Stick, as this could also potentially cause issues. 4. Last but not least, ensure your Fire TV device and the Fire TV app on your mobile device are up to date.
