I absolutely love this product. the feature I like BEST is that it turns the tv off if left on over a period of time. Kudos!!!

The 4K fire stick works best with a 4K TV so you can get the maximum resolution.
I am satisfied with the results.
You can also take it wherever you go.

This is the second one I received after the first stopped working. It worked well for a few day but the on off feature stopped working on this one!@ I can turn the set on/off using the Alexa voice feature and decided to use it this way instead of having to return and get yet another one.

Hello! I'm sorry to hear about the experience you are having with the Fire TV Stick 4K Max. It sounds like you may need to reset your Fire TV Stick 4K Max remote. 1. Unplug your Fire TV from the power supply and HDMI input, then wait 60 seconds. 2. Press and hold the Left button, Menu button, and Back button at the same time. Hold them for 12 seconds. 3. Release the buttons and wait 5 seconds. 4. Remove the batteries from your remote. 5. Plug in your Fire TV and wait until you see the screen that says that the remote can’t be detected. 6. Put the batteries back in your remote. 6. Press the Home button. When the LED indicator blinks blue, your remote is paired successfully. If it's not paired, press the Home button for 10 seconds. If these steps do not help, and you are still having functionality issues you can call Amazon customer service, available 24/7 for assistance on the device. You can reach them at 1-888-280-4331. I hope this information is helpful, thank you!

Even after empting all my apps' caches and data, my fire tv kept continuously telling me I had no storage left on my tv, so I would need to uninstall three of my apps to provide storage. i had only four apps (Youtubetv, Netflix, Amazon Prime and HBO Max) installed. I was told by Geek Squad this fire stick would provide me the storage necessary to solve this problem. It did not solve the problem.

Hi PatrickV,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about the Fire TV Stick 4K Max. We sincerely apologize that the device didn't solve your storage problem as you expected based on the Geek Squad's recommendation.
We want to clarify an important point: the Fire TV Stick 4K Max's 16 GB of storage is internal to the Fire Stick itself, not your TV. The storage issue you're experiencing with your TV telling you there's no storage left is actually related to your TV's internal storage, not the Fire Stick's capacity. The Fire Stick operates independently and stores its own apps and data on its 16 GB memory.
Here's what may be happening: If you're still seeing storage warnings after installing the Fire Stick, it's possible that:
Your TV's native apps are still consuming storage on the TV itself You may need to use the Fire Stick's interface exclusively (rather than your TV's smart features) to access your streaming services The apps should be installed on the Fire Stick, not on your TV
To resolve this: Install YouTube TV, Netflix, Amazon Prime, and HBO Max directly on your Fire TV Stick 4K Max through the Fire TV interface. This way, they'll use the Fire Stick's 16 GB storage instead of your TV's limited storage. You may also want to uninstall or disable the apps on your TV itself if they're taking up space there.
If you've already done this and are still experiencing issues, or if the Fire Stick isn't meeting your needs, you're welcome to return it to Best Buy within their return window. We'd also be happy to help troubleshoot further if you'd like to give it another try with the setup approach above.
We appreciate your feedback and hope we can help get your streaming experience working smoothly.

Hello Denise! Thank you for your review of your experience with your Fire Stick. I am sorry to hear that yours is beginning to shut off on its own. This is definitely not the typical experience that our customers have with our products. It sounds as though your device may be experiencing a bug of some sort. You can troubleshoot this by navigating to Settings>Device and Software>About>Check for Updates. If there are any updates pending, it will download and restart your device. If this does not resolve your issue or you do not have any pending updates, I would recommend reaching out to Amazon Customer Support directly at 888.280.4331 to troubleshoot further. We would love the opportunity to resolve your issue and improve your experience with your Fire Stick. Thank you so much for your time and I hope you have a great day!

Much faster and much more memory. Somewhat harder to setup.

It works great, but it doesn’t even have a sleep timer. Even paired with my Alexa it won’t turn off the Tv. I wish I had known that I would have ordered an older version. I can’t tell any difference between this one and the one I paid half as much for.
