It works great, but it doesn’t even have a sleep timer. Even paired with my Alexa it won’t turn off the Tv. I wish I had known that I would have ordered an older version. I can’t tell any difference between this one and the one I paid half as much for.

You can fix this by creating a routine in your Alexa App with the device! Go to settings and routines and input what times you are wanting the TV to turn off! All my tvs in my house we use firesticks or fire tv. My only gripe is the firesticks at least once a week i have to restart because it freezes up. When it works it's great only does 60hz as well not 120 i also looked at the cube and it as well only does 60 so mine as well buy this one as it's less expensive

Here are some troubleshooting steps: Unplug the Fire TV Stick power cord or adapter. Wait three seconds. Plug it back in again. To stop it from freezing, clear your cache in "Settings" → "Applications" → "Manage Installed Applications" → select an app. Press the rewind button to clear. I somewhat enjoyed this product but only to a certain extent. The lag on this fire stick and its compatibility with Hulu it what I was not happy about. So much that I actually returned the product and went with an Apple TV instead.

Thought I was just going to have to plug this into my TV sign it into my WIFI and be good to go but I am being promted for so much information its ridicoulus! I have it still sitting in the box 2 months later, I dont have the time nor the desire to deal with this... but also no time to get to a best buy to return it... I am sure its great once it is set up but this is going to probably given to someone as a gift or donated and buy soemthing else

The process does take 5-10 minutes to complete depending on the amount of apps you want to install initially and whether you have an Amazon account already. Fire Stick seems to work well and connects to the Wifi with no issues.

This device had a defect so returned it. But otherwise, FireTV stick is better than other streaming devices. The Internet app for browsing was continuously stuck while playing.
