Firestick Woes

Other than having more memory, this Firestick isn't worth the trouble. When streaming, the voices are out of sync, no matter which streaming service I'm using, it doesn't do it on the two other older Firesticks I'm using, it kicks off my blue tooth headphones out of the blue and doesn't allow me to clear the Cache. I've tried all the recommended routes to fix these problems to no avail. It's a total headache. I wasted my money on this product.

The last 2 things I would offer is to try to ensure that you have the latest software version. You can find this by navigating to Settings>Device Software and Options>About>Check for Updates. If this isn't the issue, then you can also do a factory reset from that same route in Device Software and Options. Once factory reset, you can see if setting it back up again resolves the issues. The first one worked great. I bought 2 more and neither worked. They stuck in a reboot loop and would never startup. I exchanged those two and tried one and it did the same thing.

This is a marketing device for Amazon. 4K image less than ideal, YouTube does not work as it should with this Amazon device. Please do yourself a favor and stay clear of this product. No one buys a product to serve as a marketing tool for any company.

Remote is crunchy to clicks and annoying. Doesn't appear to be broken but makes a funky crunch sound when buttons are pressed.

Fire stick is fine, on line order fine, picking this up from store that's where it all went wrong. There is no online pick up, you have to stand in line with everyone who is buying in store. Would have been faster to just grab one of the shelf. Then when I make a comment to the man in the front his response was I should just buy in store. Bad customer service. Might as well go to Amazon next time. Live and learn.

Replace the batteries in your remote. 2. Use the power cable and adapter included with your Fire TV device. If you lose your Fire TV device power cable or adapter replace them with Amazon branded equipment to ensure compatibility. 3. Unplug the power cord from your device or wall outlet for several seconds then plug it back in. 4. Press the source or input button on your remote and ensure your TV input matches the name or number of the HDMI port your Fire TV is plugged into (often located on the back of your TV). 5. Use an HDMI cable rated for high speed (you can purchase this separately). 6. Unplug your Fire TV from your HDMI hub (if you're using one) and plug it directly into your TV's HDMI port. I've been having wi-fi connectivity with this thing every since i bought it. Native apps from my tv play well but soon as i go to the firestick it says no wi-fi network. Hate i wasted my money on this. Nothing but a headache. Wish i could rate it with no stars.

Hello! Thank you for leaving a review. I am sorry you are having Wi-Fi issues with the Fire TV Stick 4K Max. I have some recommendations to try and help fix the issue. First, check the network status on the device. To do this, go to settings, select network, find your network name, and press the play/pause button on your remote to see the network status and follow the recommended steps. I also recommend restarting your modem/router if that doesn't help. Unplug the modem and router, wait one minute, plug the modem back in first, wait for the lights to turn on and for it to connect to the internet, then plug in your router and wait for the lights to turn on. If these steps do not help, and you are still having connectivity issues, call Amazon customer service at 1-888-280-4331 for assistance. They are available 24/7. I hope this information is helpful. I changed from Roku streaming stick to Fire stick and from the beginning we had a hard time setting it up. My son-in-law and daughter both have one so lots of experience with the product. Finally set it up and it lasted 3 days and that was it. Returned and went back to Roku
