It doesn’t work….cannot get it hooked up to either of my TV’s that I tired keeps giving me an error message saying cannot update please unplug from power source and try again later.

Started glitching after 30 day return period. Gets a black screen every 16 seconds or so. Have reloaded software and still failing.

Hello TimC. I'm sorry to hear about the issue you're experiencing with your Fire TV Stick 4K Max. When you start or stop streaming in 4K Ultra HD, your TV screen may flicker or turn black for a few seconds.
* Restart your Fire TV device. * Use the connection equipment that came with your device. * Confirm that any A/V receivers or sound bars connected to your Fire TV are on the correct input. You can also connect your Fire TV device directly to your TV. * Disconnect your Fire TV from the HDMI port then plug it back in. * Try replacing your HDMI cable or HDMI hub (not included) with a new one. * Use a High-Speed HDMI cable (not included) for streaming titles in 4K Ultra HD. * Match your remote's source or input button to the HDMI port that your Fire TV is plugged into. * Turn HDMI-CEC Device Control off and then on again: Go to Settings on your Fire TV. Select Display & Sounds. Select HDMI-CEC Device Control to turn it off and then on again. * Cycle the available resolutions on your Fire TV device by pressing and holding the Up and Rewind buttons together for five seconds. Allow your device to cycle through all available resolutions. If these steps do not help and you are still experiencing issues, you can reach out to Amazon Customer Support 24/7 at 1-888-280-4331. Not worth the money you’re better off buying Apple 4K. It works better than the fire stick. I recommended to anybody else.

We are sorry you are not enjoying your new Fire TV Stick 4K Max. There are a few different solutions you can try on your TV to enhance your experience. First, you go to settings on the Fire TV home screen, or press the settings button on your remote. From there, you can select display and sounds and ensure that a screen saver is selected. You can choose one from the " Amazon Collection" or choose your own from your "Daily Memories" if you have your Fire TV linked with Amazon Photos.
From there, you can navigate to preferences on the main screen of the settings menu. Once you click on "preferences", you will see privacy settings. Click on that, and then you can toggle off the following: Device Usage Data, Collect App Usage Data, and Interest-based Ads. This will not remove ads completely from your TV, however, it will stop monitoring usage and targeting certain products based on your streaming preferences.

Also, you'll want to make sure that you use a fresh pair of AAA batteries and when you insert new batteries into your remote, and both have the positive terminals point up. i had the version below this one and it was lagging a little bit so I bought this one and so far it's running super smooth. Picture is amazing. I do have to say when you connect to the Wi-Fi it doesn't automatically connect to Wi-fi 6 you have to choose it yourself like on the Wi-Fi page. There was two of my Internet, which was Wi-Fi five and Wi-Fi six and I had to figure out which one was which but other than that it's amazing. Definitely a good purchase. I would definitely recommend to a friend.

Love this Fire TV Stick. The large storage capacity of 16 GB is great to have, these can fill up quick with apps and cache, which causes them to get laggy...not with this storage capacity. The 6E Wi-Fi is amazing too. Nice to have a dedicated Wi-Fi channel for this Fire Stick. I will be replacing my older Fire Sticks with more of these in the future!

This Fire Stick is Good, real good. After set up it's easy to use. It does everything that I need. Also, with the 4K Max, there is plenty of space to update and add things in the future. Good product.
