remote uses up batteries in 4 days

Heavy on Amazon trying to get you to buy their TV products and Prime subscription. But will not buy Amazon again because the remote was defective and used up 2 AA batteries every 4 days. Their support group wouldn't send a replacement. They wanted me to spend more money buying my own replacement remote with a promise to refund my money after I called or chatted with them again. No thanks!

Poor Return Policy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The product worked fine, but I bought two and when I attempted to return one (unopened) because my old TV did not have the necessary plug in to use it, I was told there was a 15 day return limit. This return policy was not disclosed at the time of purchase and is ridiculous. The associate asked another associate if there was a way to return it since it wasn’t opened. The associate gave a condescending response that if I was a paid member they could extend the return deadline. When I asked the cost of the membership, I was told $50! So, I have to pay $50 to return a $40 purchase? Again, ridiculous!

This is my first try at cord cutting and i am impressed . The only thing missing are the live local channels.
