There are a few things to try if the Fire Stick is working slowly, first restart the device and your modem/router. Then, clear the cache for apps, uninstall unused apps, and check for system updates. I wish I could return it, but this started happening and I am pass the return date!

If your Firestick remote isn't turning on your TV, first check and replace the batteries, then unplug and restart both the Firestick and the remote. If that doesn't work, you can try re-pairing the remote by holding the Home button for 10 seconds, or perform a remote reset by holding the Back, Home, and Left directional buttons for 15 seconds, followed by re-pairing. For persistent issues, you may need to check the remote's equipment control settings on the Firestick or reset the Firestick itself.
