The fact that my mom lives in another state, Im sure these issues would be easily fixed if I lived closer. I think for younger folks, this is great, works easily. But for Seniors, this can be a challenging device, remote, etc.

Sadly, not true. I thought maybe I had not installed it correctly. It seemed too easy. But it wasn't me. The Firestick had lots of free channels with old content, but not to the network news programs/shows I wanted. (There were some news programs, but none with anchors I recognized.) You have the option to stream Amazon, Peacock, Netflix and more for a monthly fee , (good), but I couldn't find anything I wanted on live network TV, which was why I bought it. I kept the product but don't use it as often as I thought I would.

In order to stream local channels, you will need to download a live TV app. Some of the most popular apps include, but are not limited to, YouTube TV, Hulu Live, and Fubo.
