Very light weight! Small enough for convenience but big enough for reading. Love it!

This product is absolutely AMAZING. It provides a totally different reading experience, which as a result, leads to a better comprehension of the material. I use to read technical business books... I bet anything that it's even better to read novels on. By pressing a word, you can look up a words definition, thesaurus, or even Wikipedia! If your serious about absorbing what you read, or being able to carry one or two 500 page textbook in the palm of your hands easily, then this E-Reader is for you! The Side buttons make a big difference in the UX/UI of the product. -- I can't wait to finish the business books and start to read Novels on this thing!

Love my Kindle Oasis. Bigger screen and can read in the water!

I bought this because I was on extended travel and left my paper white at home, this was the only model they had in stock the night I went. I really like this model, light weight, comfortable and feels more natural to advance the pages with the buttons. Glad I bought it.

I’ve always bought the most recent Kindle Fire tablets so that I could read books, but they always had glare and would overheat. When I used the Oasis on vacation, I didn’t have to worry about glare at all and I loved that I didn’t have to worry about small splashes.

I'm a huge fan of the e-readers. I find I read more on my kindle than any other device (iPad, other tablet). I recently upgraded from the Kindle Paperwhite to the Oasis. I'm a huge fan of the larger screen and ergonomic feel. It has been a pleasure to use.

Once expensive at $300 you can now get a refurb at $139.00. Very light weight, easy to hold for extended periods of reading. Very even lighting helps eliminate eyestrain. I've had all the Amazon e-readers and this is clearly the best.

So-I read all the time! My kindle was rather old, so my kiddos (husband) got me the Oasis for Mother’s Day. It is light weight compared to my old one, and the anti glare on the screen is awesome! Now I don’t have to worry about blinding my husband or myself while we’re in the car anymore.

The first thing I like about the Oasis are the turn buttons, They are so much better than having to touch the screen. Also the Oasis has a larger screen than the Voyage. The type is very readable and the back lighting with 12 LED's makes it easy to read in the dark.

Omg the best kindle since sliced bread. Actually bought before I went out of the country for a week at the beach and it flips based on what hand you hold it with. The buttons can be reassigned as to forward or back. Amazing kindle

While similar to my older paper white Kindle, the wider space on the right side makes it easier to hold with one hand and change pages at the same time. You can rotate from the right hand to the left hand. Otherwise, it is pretty much the same as the previous one.

Oh , I love it . Silky smoothe , on paper , adaptible to room light and 7' screen . Don't know if it's worth $250 ( kind of dependent ) but with some throw away or trade in definitely worth another $150 even if you have a nice 6 incher . I sure like it .

The reading experience on the Oasis is superior to that of the paperwhite. It truly is much closer to reading an actual book. I’m very pleased. However the already pricey standard oasis is not available with a cellular connection. I still bought it but it is a shame— especially at this price point. That’s why I did not give it 5 stars.

Let’s start with the positives. The larger screen size is great and that’s it. Not worth the extra money even with the waterproof feature. Not to mention the device isn’t reliable and the battery lasts two days max. The particular device I received was defective. Black lines appearing on screen, text scrambling,screen turning black, device freezing, and device would only update manually. These problems occurred repeatedly several times a day with the only way to temporarily being to restart but issue alsways recurred. Contacted Amazon and they had no solution either except to exchange for refurbished device. Um no thanks. Back it goes.

I have always loved the Kindle devices. The Oasis is differently shaped but I like it, the thicker part is good to hold onto. I'm not 100% convinced it is worth the extra to go for the Oasis over the Paperwhite, but I think the water proof feature is cool.

I have 3 kindles till now, this one is the best, the screen is bigger and not heavy, the power can hold on for almost one week. just paid unlimited kindle reader. I bought a cover for it, only cover the back of it, feel much better and safer.

I like the Oasis. It is more responsive compared to the Paperwhite and Voyager. One issue I have with it is that it is slippery to hold, especially lying in bed. It keeps slipping out of my hand. This issue was resolved by using a case, so budget for an additional 40 bucks for the case.
