i bought this for my wife and she loves it. Great battery life and the display is great with text. The only thing is the grip which she finds is a little cold and slippery so you might want to get a case.

I had one of the older kindles with a keyboard and find this screen so much sharper. Like the automatic brightness more than I anticipated. Battery life isn’t quite as advertised but still excellent.

Nearly flawless. Occasional light ghosting, but no more than any other e-reader. The perfectly designed page turn buttons and excellent backlighting make it worth the price of admission.

I wished it would be cheaper! The internet or browser function is too slow to be useful. Downloading a large audio book will take forever until you stop it without success. It is good for people to read ebooks!

Very comfortable to read. Larger screen and more text per page are a plus. Its expansive but would recommend it if one can afford.

I think this is the best E-Reader ever. The combination of the buttons and the screen with software is hard to beat. Quite expensive though.

Of all the excellent kindles I have had, the new Oasis is the best. It is back lit and adjusts to the external lighting to provide just what you need.

This Kindle Oasis was a gift. I will be purchasing one myself as an upgrade. They are very light weight and perfect to travel with.

Lightweight and comfortable. It can be held by either hand. Since the screen flips buttons are always where you want them

When Barnes & Noble emailed me that they were discontinuing support for my old Nook, I decided to try a Kindle. This thing is a huge improvement. Very adjustable for my weak eyes. Love it. Strongly suggest the case that shuts it off and turns it on when you close/open it. Really convenient.

He loves how he can fit it into his pant pockets, which is a bonus! It was easy to set up and get started!
