I have enjoyed my new Kindle and the ability to take with me anywhere. I really like reading at night without a booklight.

The oasis is my 4th kindle since they First begain. Each one became better then the last! I wore each one out!

This Kindle is amazing, I use it all the time and the eye strain I used to feel with the Kindle fire is gone.

It is great but pricey. With the new version coming out I’d upgrade same price more bang for your buck.

The lights are great on this one. I love that it's water proof. The metal can get hot in the sun and the edges are a little sharper than I would like.

I'm a tech nerd and my techy computer books work so much better on bigger color tablets so I had sold off my Kindle years ago. But I saw the Oasis on display and fell in love. The screen is amazing and the kooky form factor actually makes it a lot easier to hold in my opinion. I know even the cheaper Kindle models are waterproof now too, but this is the first waterproof one for me - spent a lot of time reading in the pool this summer.

I am very impressed at the ease of use and screen lighting of this device. My favorite kindle, by far!

Hands down, best Kindle available today. Premium, yet light weight in the hands. Highly recommend.

This reader is easy to hold and use. It is easy on my eyes, easy to turn pages, and works great in direct light.

This is my favorite kindle reader by far. We built a new house and my bookshelves did not go in it very well so I put my books in the attic and decided to get a new kindle to use for reading. The light isn't overly bright, I never get a headache, battery life is great. I love this kindle!!

light weight, magnetic to use with nice covers. The touch is super sensitive and changes pages when you touch sides which is annoying.

My biggest problem with the original/base Kindle model is the touch screen is terrible. I couldn't stand it. Oasis model is amazing. I love the buttons for page turning. I love it. The waterproof design makes it so I can take it anywhere. I was worried the e-ink wouldn't be as good as a Kindle or Paperwhite in bright sunlight, but it was perfect. I just loved this and it's converted me back to an e-reader. :-)

The design is good. Love to read books with this beautiful device. The battery is not very good though.

It was a good product to read books. If the price can be a little cheap will be better.
