An Interesting Merge of Literacy and History
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.With all of the Abraham Lincoln films that have come out recently (the good and the bad), PBS and The American Experience gives their viewers a look into what helped influence the American Civil War. "The Abolitionists" is a historical drama/documentary on everything we learned in school about Frederick Douglass, William Lloyd Garrison, and Harriet Beecher Stowe. Many other names are mentioned and this program is a reminder to all that it is the little things which help with the development of a nation.
