Crossing,
I enjoy having to rearrange furnitures and editing rooms. I feel like an expert playing this game. In Animal Crossing Home Designer, You get to choose from variety of home decoration to help out a villagers needs. I had a great amount of joy playing this game. Overall, A plus on my collection!

At first I wasn't sure if I would still be having fun designing rooms over and over again but I find myself putting a lot of thought in trying to design rooms for these cute little animals and so far the animals provide a pretty good variety of what each one wants, keeping the game interesting and sometimes challenging me in using a style I'm not familiar with. The game also has you designing the interior of different buildings like a school or a store and this helps change things up a bit. You use the touch screen primarily to do things like moving furniture around and navigating the menus and I personally prefer this because if you had to push the furniture around like in traditional Animal Crossing games then it would take much longer to design rooms and it would be way more frustrating, but you can still do that if you want, the game lets you use either method. I was also relieved to find out that the amiibo cards aren't required to play the game, they're only used if you want to design a house for a specific animal or if you want to invite them over to another animal's house you designed, otherwise the animals you design for show up randomly. Overall I'd say the game is a lot better than I thought it would be, the only minor complaints I have is that you don't get to walk around the village where the animals live, you just pick which animal to visit through a menu, and you have to turn in for the night and save after designing for each project, to me it seems weird that you can only do one project a day before having to save and wait for it to load the next day (in-game day, not real time).

my wife loves the animal crossing series and part of her favorite aspect of it was collecting the furniture sets to constantly remodel her home. she has always loved interior design and so she really loves being able to design everyone's home. while the amiibo cards are kind of an annoying extra expense, i understand the thrill of collecting your favorites and seeing what specials you get because i am a Magic: the Gathering player. overall, satisfied because she's more than satisfied.

Overall, I had a lot of fun with Happy Home Designer personally, but I would say it's hard to recommend to someone who hasn't played any previous Animal Crossing games, with very little to compare the title to. If you like decorating your house in AC, you'll likely like this title too. The decorating mechanics and improved and refined, with tons of new furniture to play with as well. The Happy Home Network is also a really interesting feature, allowing you to share your creations with others around the world, and draw inspiration from their creations.
Beyond that, however, there isn't much to do. Visiting your works is fun, seeing the animals interact with your creation is satisfying.
This game ultimately is what you make of it, and it's certainly not for everyone, but I had a lot of fun.

The game is super fun and still has a lot of the fun qualities of Animals Crossing! It's fun to decorate the houses and do much more for the cities in the game. Fun little game!

My kids love designing and creating the different buildings and rooms. They help each other out and challenge each other to think outside the box.

It's very satisfying to be able to unlock entire furniture sets that were very difficult to attain in previous Animal Crossing games. I wish there was more to the game, though. I already finished my town, and it seems all I have left to do is design houses for clients to unlock the rest of the items. I also wish I could wear the shirts and dresses I unlock instead of only being able to put them on villagers.

I'm an Animal Crossing lover, I play it every day so I figured I'd like to have Happy Home Designer as well. This game let's you see all the available furniture which is neat and you can design as many houses as you'd like from inside out. Unlike the regular Animal Crossing games you don't have to worry about coming back every day and playing. You can come and go as you please. It is a repetitive game but luckily for me, I'll never get bored of designing.

This game is exactly what is promises to be. In the charming world of Animal Crossing, you are now an employee of Nook's Homes whose goal is to help the townspeople create their perfect home, inside and out. The gameplay is simple but extremely addicting, and you can redesign homes you've already finished, making replay value excellent. Although it may be niche, if this is the kind of game that appeals to you, you won't be disappointed!

I'm a massive fan of the Animal Crossing series, so when I saw the announcement for this game I was super skeptical. Then, the game released, and was hit with a lot of mixed reviews. Some people enjoyed it, others didn't.
After talking to a friend who bought the game, he convinced me to get it. Needless to say, I'm not dissapointed with my purchase. I'm really enjoying the game, as well as collecting the animal crossing amiibo cards.

I'm loving this game! The character customization is better compared to Animal Crossing New Leaf. The furniture is much easier to move around as well. I love that I can decorate the homes of my favorite animals. This game has so much personality. I do feel like people who have played a previous Animal Crossing game will be the ones who will appreciate this game and what it has to offer the most.

This game is not a regular entry in the Animal Crossing series, but is perfectly suited to those who want a game that focuses on designing houses and occasionally other buildings. The home design aspects go far beyond what you can do in the regular Animal Crossing games. As someone who really likes designing houses in the regular games, I love this spin-off!

But I like the freedom of being able to do whatever I want without parameters. Sure, adding goals and criteria for your designs would make it more of a game than just something fun to do, but I think it's supposed to allow for maximum creativity and relaxation. You can put as much or as little effort as you want into each house, but ultimately the fun is designing something YOU like and not what you think the game calls for. Recommended for those who enjoy decorating and designing rooms with cute Animal Crossing furniture, as that is the bulk of this game.

A quality game, even though this is different from the standard Animal Crossing game formula it is still a deep game with many things to do. Expanding off the total town customization of New Leaf, now you are tasked with customizing your neighbor's houses!

This game's fun but kinda redundant to be fair. I like the concept of designing homes for the characters but it does get pretty repetitive after a while.
It's a neat venture into the world but it's just the filler til the new game drops in December!

Best Buy is becoming the go-to place for all game shopping, even if you only buy half a dozen games a year, GCU is so worth it. Got this game at an awesome price and will make some little girls very happy for Christmas!

I bought this as a gift for my 14 year old daughter. She had been asking for it for quite some time. I bought it online and when it arrived, she immediately opened and started playing. It's one of her top 10 favorites.

Fun game, the game is a spin off from the original animal crossing however. There is no real grinding involved and instead they give you all the items to work with.
