This cable is the perfect length and just what I needed for remote phone charging from my laptop while on-the-go.

Works. Name of item is goofy. I bought wrong cord the first time. Actually the best buy rep have me wrong one. Apple needs better naming convention. Lightning is the name of the cord? Just not intuitive naming causing me to have to return first wire and locate this one. Cord charges old iPad as expected. It's short wire though but as advertised.

Bought this cable to have in the office and keep phone or ipad charged. Only suggestion is to make sure the length work for you. I did not notice and although it works for me in the office, it is a pain if I take it home being that it is so short, I have to leave the phone on the floor while it charges. Overall it works as it's supposed to.

Apple is still superior to the lesser off-brand cords which only work for a month then either die or become highly unreliable
