Can't say enough about it. Functions and looks every bit of what you would expect. I only wish that Best Buy sold a model with more than 8GB of memory. Apple did make the memory user upgradeable and this computer desperately needs it. I bumped it up to 24gb but 16gb should be ok. With only a browser open and a few applications, I'm using 10gb on a regular basis. Not sue if Best Buy sells memory but sticks are easily had online.

This is my first Mac, and I love it. I've resisted the switch from PC for years, but the time had finally arrived. I couldn't believe how easy it was to set up and use. I'm still learning my way around, but I'm catching on pretty fast. If you've been resisting a Mac, give it a try. Or at least try it out in the store. You won't be sorry.

I think this is one of the best computer purschases that i have done. Great display and fast speed

The computer worked to perfection but only came with 8GB of ram. The biggest drawback that I didn't like was the new "Fusion Drive" which is a hybrid drive of an SSD drive and a standard spinning drive with new technology to tell the drive where each file and type of media should be stored for optimum performance. The problem I had is that the drive still remains a hybrid. Standard rotating drives are still prone to damage and/or corruption if jostled, etc... I wanted solely an SSD drive but that wasn't the basic option that Apple offered. I believe with a proper SSD drive it would be much faster but cost more to produce. Apple should include a fast SSD drive in these computers and start at 16 GB of memory. After careful evaluation I returned this computer. When they up the RAM and change to a purely SSD drive then it will be more worth the money. I'd still recommend this computer to others, but it's specs didn't meet my needs at it's current price.

This is my first Mac computer and I was hesitant to take the leap, however, it has turned out to be the best purchase. Making the transition from HP products to this Apple has been seamless. It is user friendly and not all that much different from a PC. Love the 27" screen.

I have always been a PC user, never again...the iMAC with the 5k display is simply amazing. The speed, the ease of use, the seamless connection between my iPad, and iPhone. What more can I say.. the iMAC has it all.

Great overall. Very user friendly, only downside is no DVD/CD drive, that must be purchased separately.

So I bought this iMac after going through 3 laptops in the last 5 years that were not apple products. I used to be strongly against apple products, but after buying my first iPhone I don't think I could go back. they are just superior products. my mac always runs smooth,never crashes and i don't have to purchase an aftermarket anti virus. I love this computer, it was my "best buy" in along time :)

This was a great upgrade over my previous iMac (pre-2008 version). Love this computers graphics and speed. Some hiccups with its internet connectivity. But overall I am happy with the computer.

Bought the Mac because its the best. I bought it at best buy because i don't get bothered all the time i can simply go in and ask questions and i can get what i need. No extra selling. also i like the best buy website because it lets me know whats in stock and where. But only issue is i wish best buy would carry more in stock. I had to check whats in stock in 3 diffrent locations other then that awesome.

I had a 2009 iMac that was still a nice machine but getting a little slow on the draw. Also noticed that when Apple released its Yosemite OS, the obsolescence hatchet fell on the 2009 MacBooks, so could my iMac be far behind? Time to upgrade! What can I say except, "Me lovin' dem Apples!" This is big number 8 for me. The Best Buy price can't be beat. Don't know how they sell BELOW Apple, but they do.

It is the high end Mac. Works fast, smooth and 5K display is so pleasing to the eyes

This is my first iMac purchase. I've been recommended to get a Mac for quite some time now, being that I'm an artist & photographer. I'm very glad I splurged on this beautiful machine and pleased with everything about it. I'm still learning the OS and getting to know how to use it, but overall I'm quite happy so far.

I switched from a PC to an IMAC and I was a bit worrried, however, I am very pleased with the Display and the speed of my IMAC. I need everything to be huge and I love the large display and I can zoom in with a click of my mouse for an even larger view. AWESOME

The solid state processor makes my old iMac seem really slow. Great screen as well.

We could not have chosen a better computer than this one. Our money was very well spent on this Mac computer. It is slim, light weight, fast, very useful and easy to use. It is a family computer and we have used for many things such as researching, surfing the internet, printing coupons, playing games, downloading videos and music, and I know it is capable of doing many more things.

Nice picture and powerfull computer. All family love the features and speed.

This iMac with the stunning Retna display is worth every penny it costs. The Fusion drive makes it stunningly fast. I pondered whether to spend as much on a computer — considering the cheaper alternatives available— but don't regret my decision. The old addage " you get only what you pay for" is proven here.
