Love the huge screen and ease of loading....only thing I miss is a CD player.

I bought the iMac Retina 5k 27" for it's gorgeous 5k display and the ability to see photos with fantastic screen resolution. This base model performs really well, with plenty of processor power, speed, and storage capacity, and is elegant as well as utterly functional. Best Buy gave me great service and addressed any issues I had with a genuine desire to please me as a customer.

When looking for a new computer, we decided to give the Mac a try. We have had horrible luck with our past four Dell units and were in the market for something different and since we have apple phones and notebooks, we figured this was the next logical step and we have been happy with our choice.

This is my first Retina computer. It runs so fast and smoothly. The SSD drive is great. If your into Apple this computer is the way to go. If your a non mac user this is a great computer to get into macs.

The screen resolutions is best in class. It runs smooth, fast and quiet.

Had a late 2009 Imac previous to the 2014 Retina display Imac. Great machines and are very hardy. The 2009 Lasted 6 YEARS WHICH I THINK IS AWESUM. The machine run consantly for 6 years with update to IOS free from MAC. What else could you ask for. A great machine for pictures, graphics. etc.

Talk about screen real estate, this it folks! Add to that the faster processor than my 2012 27" iMac had, and I can notice the difference when running some software such as Adobe Premiere for movies. The SSD drive portion of the hybrid drive makes it near instantaneous when booting up. Slim, but I kind of liked the former models that contained the DVD/CD drive and the memory card slot just below it. The downside is you need to buy an external drive if you want to burn software or you have disks for loading software. At least the price is good for the external drive (around 70 bucks), but it would've been nicer if it included Blu-Ray instead of just DVD/CD. It's also easy (very easy) to install memory modules which is right where the power cord plugs in. Just flip open the small flap and start throwing in the memory cards.

I am a first time Mac convert from PC. It has taken awhile to get used to, but I am now hooked. Goodbye PC. Great Machine, huge monitor. Still unlocking all its capability.

I purchased this iMac as an upgrade to a late 2009 model and I have been pleasantly surprised. It's perfect for the work I do which includes editing 4K video, digital illustration, and 3D animation. I didn't go for the top of the line but the performance has been great with the base model.

We did lots of research and asking around before purchasing out new computer. EVERYONE we talked to said to go Mac if possible. We haven't been disappointed. It was pretty easy to learn to use, has a nice sleek look that doesn't clutter up the desk. We do wish it had a disk drive, but since it doesn't, we are now looking to purchase a separate one of those...

Works faster than I expected and the picture quality is amazing

I have always had an HP computer but my daughter had a Mac and always swore by it. After having a lot of problems upgrading to Windows 10 and computer crashing, I decided to switch to an iMac and I'm glad I did. It is different but what new computer isn't. The display quality is fantastic and the pc comes with a lot of great apps. I really like it!

I know there are people out there who think that these kinds of reviews are fake but I have to say honestly... this is the BEST investment ive made. this computer exceeds my needs and expectations like I cant even believe it... The image quality is the best. and the speed is just great. Memory Awesome and I couldnt be any happier... Windows SUCKS!

As with other Apple products, the iMac is what you expect it to be: Expensive but packed with high-end features like a gorgeous screen, lots of storage, fast access to files, and connectivity with all other Apple product.s

I was anti-Apple for many many years. I have NO idea why either! I was finally convinced to get an iMac by one of my employees...it was by FAR the very best decision that I have EVER made!!! This machine is totally unbelievable!! My mind is blown every time I turn it on!!!

Never mind what you hear about switching from a PC to Mac. It's the simplest, most fun thing ever! Very intuitive, absolutely gorgeous and, with wireless keyboard and mouse, very neat!
