Solidly built, excellent sound. I own the first generation and the bass on that one is better but gen 2 is 50$ less. Bought 2 for stereo pair.

I have both the Apple Homepod 2 and the Apple mini in my home and if you enjoy base and a nice rich sound then these two items are a world apart. The Homepod 2 definitely brings a nice rich sound with a nice base compared to the mini. The mini is great for small spaces but it lacks the presence of the Homepod 2. I will be picking up a second one in the near future to test the double speakers feature.

I am so happy that Apple brought this back. I have an older one so I LOVE THIS! These are awesome! Deep rich sound. Much stronger than the smaller ones that have been out. (I have a few of those) I put this in every room that I can and the sound fills the room. I simply play music from my iPhone and enjoy a great sound. Very easy to set up. Sets up in seconds with your iPhone. THANK YOU APPLE for finally bringing this back!!!

I use it basically for everything, from tv to music and controlling devices, being able to seamlessly use devices without issue is worth it, the only issue is that apple doesn’t allow much customization, however the quality is peak, I don’t think I would change much to make it sound better, 10/10

Works great and tied in seamlessly with our HomePod Mini. Love the smart light control features. Great sound and the stereo play option is great for parties.

I would play them one at a time and switch it to 1 and then 2 and in my opinion, the 1st generation sounds better. The bass on the 1st generation sounds deeper compared to the 2nd generation. But playing them together sounds really good but I would have to turn the volume up or down on one of them because the volume doesn’t match. Overall though I’m happy. Maybe in the next update they can fix that issue of the volume.

The sound coming out of this is really amazing for its size. Big bass, really clean highs. And it's really functional for home automation. It's so good in fact, I bought a second one to make a stereo pair the the result is greater than the sum of the parts. I hear there's an update coming this Fall where voice in movies is going to be improved so you hear the dialog better. Way better than the HomePod Mini, which I also have a pair for the TV downstairs.

Fantastic speaker. Fills the room like many other quality alternatives (like Sonos) while having a softer appearance. Once you enter this higher-tier category, it's hard to go wrong. And while the home minis are also fantastic, the full size one here brings a noticeable increase in bass. For the price though, I think I would still choose 2 or 3 home minis over this if creating a wide-room or multi-room setup on a budget... but for a single room, choose this.

Wish we had converted over from Alexa a lot sooner. Yes, there are no screens, but everything is excellent as it works with all iPhones and other devices.

Love this device. I do think it is a bit too expensive for what it is, but the sound is Amazing. I use this in my kitchen attached to an apple TV when cooking. Convenient and simple to use. We play music and TV through this speaker daily. I also love connecting it to the rest of my Airplay speakers throughout the house.

I’ve got a pair of these, four feet apart (per apple’s recommendation), about five inches from a wall, mounted on shelves that are barely bigger than the HomePod’s base. In that position, they’re able to project a dome of surround sound through my bedroom, which sounds incredibly immersive when you’re in the center of the room. Even outside of the sweet spot, it still sounds delightful. It’s very impressive to hear no noticeable volume dropoff on sounds that move frok the center channel to around the back — something that more expensive setups with rear surround speakers struggle with in between speakers. Plus, audio is beautifully balanced and detailed. Ive always been one to use headphones, because the details you can hear with them is much greater than speakers are usually capable of producing. But the advanced computational audio Apple has is second to none, and manages to draw headphone-level detail out of speakers that effortlessly rivals my $400 set. I’d heard the original HomePod, but never got one because of the price. I’m so glad I could afford them this time, because they’re going to be with me for many years.

Pairing two of these is incredible especially if you have apple TV and are used to just the TV speakers. Great with Apple home if you use their native app. I have one paired to an Apple TV at a 2nd home and it fills the room with sound. For music it has solid bass especially for a speaker of its size. I also use the temperature readings it displays in the apple home to check on properties and control thermostats.

This is my second Apple HomePod that I bought from Best Buy. The sound is very good. It has punchy base. I have them synced to my Apple TV in my bedroom and office. It really helps improve the sound of my TV. The tv’s onboard speakers don’t sound good. The HomePod makes a big difference. I also stream my Apple Music and Spotify through them.
