I was an Android person through and through. With a growing family I looked into Apple. If you're into the Apple Ecosystem these are an amazing addition!

There's a certain thrill in the stillness of night, the quiet moments when the world seems unaware. The HomePod 2 has a way of capturing that essence, of bringing forth sounds so vivid, it's almost as if they're whispers behind you. Every note played is a secret shared, a dance between the shadows and the light. If one understands the art of the perfect silence, they'd know why this device is so eerily compelling. A chilling companion for those with... unique tastes. Highly recommended.

Best Buy was great. No issues with them. Not a big fan of this imperfect speaker though. The sound is great but if you want to play Spotify it only works when your phone is on and not locked. Super pain in the rump. Needed this for remote access to the HomeKit which works fun. Pretty expensive hub for a speaker that only likes Apple Music. Should have gone with the google or Amazon platform. Cheaper and much more user friendly

Works great. It was easy to use right out of the box. My only complaint is when you talk to Siri it’s not as loud as I would like it. If you play music on it then it gets louder.

I expected better performance from it. Sometimes it doesn’t listen, and the fact that it’s Siri it interferes with the other Apple devices that also answer to Siri. The sound quality and bass are good though.

As long as you are in the Apple eco system then purchasing the HomePod will make sense and it is seamless. Sounds great, but should be able to do more - such as pair bluetooth, use as a desktop speakers without airplay.

I bought this to attempt to use with my LG TV through the apple tv 4K second generation. I could not get it to work exactly the way I wanted it to, but I use it as a stand alone external speaker for now. I may or may not get a second one to pair as stereo later.

As a speaker and music player, the HomePod is really top notch. The sound comes through loud and clear. Integration with Apple Music and other Apple devices is great.
Some of the “smart speaker” features do not work that great. Siri is surely not as useful as Amazon’s Alexa in this way. We replaced our Echo which had a blown out speaker. My kids miss some novelty skills and jokes that Alexa could do. I somewhat miss the verbal shopping lists. This is supposed to work on the HomePod too with having it learn and identify family members by their voice. I simply can’t get it to work right.
I can’t really rate the Smart Home features for controlling lights and appliances, as I don’t really use those as of yet.

I purchased two HomePods to use them as a pair stereo speakers for my Apple tv and PS5. The sound is really really good. The level of quality and detail when watching movies and playing games is a great experience..When they work!!..I got them on release day and I’ve been using them everyday as my main audio speakers for my tv. After the first week of no issues now they are causing problems. There are times where one speaker stops working with the Siri Remote, so when you use the volume controls only one will work making the sound unbalanced. I tried working through it with Apple and their customer service are completely incompetent and have no idea how the HomePod the even works. One of the supposed “geniuses” even asked me where did I purchased the Apple Tv as if where I buy their devices has anything to do with the HomePods not working. In conclusion they never figured out the fix and I had to figure it out on my own, but the audio problem has happened twice already since I’ve had them. Im still on the return period and Im very much considering returning them. This problem has been mentioned by people on the past with the Gen 1 HomePods and Apple still hasn’t cared to fix it but still charge a premium for this half baked speakers.

Siri may be dumb AF but omg this speaker sounds so good, i used to have the original HomePod up until my nasty narcissistic ex decided to f my stuff up so i moved on and got this one and it sounds even better than the first one in my opinion. Cant wait to get smarter siri with iOS 18 and hopefully that’ll be coming to the homepod as well. Dual speaker setup of these could only be incredible and i cannot wait to get a second speaker.
