I would definitely give this as a Gift to any deserving young person in pursuit to a higher education, for the fact that You have better mobility than a lap top and faster surfing capabilities when doing research projects.

As good as I thought

I got the 128GB because I wanted to maximize the use on the go. I traded-up my old iPad 2 and was amazed by hiw fast the Air is vs my old one.

My only complaint with this model is the lack of a mute switch on the side. This was evident with the Apple iPad air first generation. Not sure why have we decided to remove that switch. Aside from that, it doesn't get any better than this!

It easily holds the entire continental U.S. with VFR maps and Instrument landings. Very smooth crisp update rate displaying maps. Also, the lightest iPad, I have every owned.
