Great all around tablet. Size is perfect. Screen is great. Battery life is good as always. Not sure how Apple fit all this in such a small package. KUDOS Apple!!!

This was sort of an indulgence for me as I have both an iPhone and a full-size iPad. However, I wanted to have something in-between that I could use. I was wiling to give up a case with a keyboard in order to get a ruggedized one as I planned to take the mini out onto the production floor when visiting my company's plants (I work at corporate). The mini was everything I have come to expect from Apple and more. It was very easy to set up (it allowed me to restore from the Cloud using my iPad's image). Afterwards I just gave the mini a new name and it backed it up as its own device.

I love the part that I can carry it in my purse and don't have to take around a big purse to just take it with me. The only draw back is that you have to watch what kind of games & pictures you put on it because they all don't fit the screen properly.

I thought long and hard to decide between the iPad Air or the iPad Mini with Retina display. I'm very happy with my selection. I opted for more storage and the smaller form factor as the best balance between price and function. The display is beautiful and razor sharp. For my needs the difference in screen size was not a great concern. I've been very happy with the choice. No regrets.

The retina display really enhances the viewing enjoyment. The ability to store my books and movies combined with the weight make this an ideal travel tool

The mini iPad is much more portable than the full size version. The i-Tunes software should allow for more customization of choices. Lots of apps available and I like how Apple screens them. FaceTime and iMessage only works and on Apple products but there are other apps that allow you to video message your friends on any other platform. This is a great product for having fun and if you have kids. If you are looking for a tablet that is also for work or home productivity, I recommend a Windows or Android based tablet.

The mini I Pad is great. It is easy to just toss into my purse and go. It is light weight yet sturdy. The screen is outstanding. Love, love, love it!!

I needed to upgrade my iIPAD 2 for tho sole purpose of getting more memory. I was sure that I did not want a mini, but when I looked at the cost plus the need for 64gb, the mini was the way to go. I have been extremely pleased with my mini.

I love my ipad mini because of the weight and size. The resolution on the screen is great to watch videos and the weight makes it really portable.

Easy to unabtrusively bring to meetings, pack back and forth from home to office or for carry-on air travel. Read, watch, write, talk, map, photo, video, videoconference. Pleasantly surprised battery life runs a few days. Bought both ZAGG keyboard case which is great and Otter Box case with snap on screen hard cover. Heavily use the Otter Box. Wonderful device.

The mini iPad is just what I was looking for! The screen size is the perfect size especially. I already have a Macbook laptop and did not want a standard sized iPad. The min allows me to do all the same stuff as the regular one I assume and I love how easy it is to carry around. It is small enough to fit in my backpack and even my purse when I am on the move. I would definitely this make purchase again if I had to re-do it.

I have an Ipod and a full size Ipad 2, and I love them both. I got the mini for travel. I wish 64 GB was not the cut-off. The Retina display is super nice. I love watching videos and reading on it. It's very thin and light weight.

I downsized my iPad 4 when the mini came out with retina display. The images are sharp and bright. I was looking for something easier to hold and easier to put in my purse without putting a lot of strain on my neck and shoulder. The mini is, of course, lighter. I didn't downsize with the first mini because of the retina display. I am very happy with the weight, look, and speed performance of this device. Strongly recommend to anyone sitting on the fence about purchase. It's as sharp as my full size iPad 4 was.

I bought this as a gift for my wife. She uses it every night to watch movies. Our bigger and much more expensive bedroom tv gets ignored because she loves her mini ipad soooo much. Highly recommended.

i already own an iPad mini with retina display,,but when I saw best buy had one with 64gb for $395, I couldn't resist buying a second one. I love this ipad. I also own an IPad 3 which is the larger version but the mini is perfect for me. I never have to be without my mini when it is charging now that I have a second one. Best Buy was great to deal with. They said it would arrive in about 10 days. It came in 2 days which was a pleasant surprise.

I bought it so I could take games and other media off my iphone to free up space. I have 5 full-length disney movies in HD, and more games than I can count on this ipad. I also have a bunch of apps for school as well as the more typical apps like facebook, email, calendar. I love it, the battery lasts all day, and I use it constantly. Sound and video quality are amazing. I love it! The best part is, it is the perfect size to put in my purse!

This is my third ipad. I had the original and the four. I was looking for the smaller size for ebooka. I am quite surprised at how quickly this has become my ipad of choice. It has everything my other ipad has only more compact. This means it is even easier to take everywhere. The colors pop and every application works the same. I have found it no different than the regular ipad. I may even sell that one. Love it!

One of Apple's best products ever. Great size, beautiful display and very powerful

I purchased the full size iPad 3 last year and love it, but this iPad mini with retina display is so much more convenient...I just grab and go. I carry it with me everywhere. The display and speaker sound is great and the battery lasts 10 hours for me. Just make sure the case you buy for it says 'iPad mini w/retina display' or it won't fit as this mini is a tad thicker than the regular mini.
