My iPad Mini 3 replaced an original iPad Mini that I handed down to a relative. The new model is much faster, particular the wi-fi; pages now load as fast as they do on my iPad Air. The retina screen resolution produces noticeably sharper images than the original Mini. the Touch ID is a real convenience, too.

Great device. Software is the same as any of the other iOS devices so I won't go over it. Size: perfect size for any reading--I constantly use it for reading through the kindle app. Easily portable as a note taking device for classes which really allowed me to centralize and begin digitizing my graduate notes.

I have the first iPad and couldn't decide if I wanted to spend money on the mini. I purchased it and then didn't open it for 30 days. Boy, am I glad I did. I love it. Easy to set-up, and I'm electronic stupid, easy to use and I really like the size of it. I use it more than I ever used my original ipad.

The iPad mini 3 is an excellent tablet. Perfect to stash away in your bag when you go out. It also has the power and speed to run even the hardest hitting apps. The new touch sensor is a god send, no more holding my finger on the button to try to unlock like I used to with my old tablet. Highly recommended.

I originally ought this for my self but it turns out I have had little oppurtunity to use it since my fiance has taken it over. It is a great gadget and I like it much more than the regular iPad because it is easy to transport and works just as well plus I got a great deal on it! A Best Buy Must Buy!

The Apple iPad mini 3 is a very practical device. It serves well as a mini computer good for email and a host of other laptop functions. In addition, it has an easy-to-use camera that takes excellent photos. Operation is quite intuitive and easy to use. The sale price made it even more attractive!

I love the iPad mini because of its portability fitting into my purse. It meets all my needs, enabling me to take pictures and videos, to have some of my favorite apps, to have wifi to check on my email and to search the net.

I got this for my wife for christmas and she is all about Apple but I am usually not but after opening it and messing with it , its actually became a great tool for the home. Not to mention very fast , slim, and sleek looking. The camera is great as well and this all for a very good price.

I own two other tablets but have found the I pad mini is better than the other two tablets I own. Good battery life. Picture very clear and more versatile apps. I am so glad I finally bought this I pad. The only reason I hesitated was pricing but found this well worth the price

This iPad is small but just the right size to take anywhere - we like to download Disney movies for our toddler's entertainment especially when out shopping or at a restaurant. He is actually getting very skilled in finding what he likes. It's easy for him to swipe, click, etc.

I bought this as a gift for myself because I'm a crazy techno pile and I love new things. However, when my wife saw it, she stole it from me and won't give it back. Guess I need to buy another one. It's fast, sleek, and portable and the price was right when I bought it ($250).

I bought the iPad mini 3 for my daughter as a high school graduation gift. She loves it! It's much more convenient for watching Netflix and face-timing friends now that she is away at college. As an iPad Air user, I am envious of the smaller size and greater portablility.

I have an iPad 3 and have enjoyed it so I purchased the mini 3 for my wife to use. This is the perfect size and performance unit, I am now thinking of replacing my iPad 3 with a new mini as well! It's great!!

I bought the Apple mini 3 for its convenient size, great display and Apple quality build reputation. So far it's meeting expectations but I have not had time to use it a great deal. I'll follow-up with an update if further use alters my initial favorable impression.

I love my iPad mini 3. It's great that it's small but bigger than the competitors mini. I use it for school since most of my books are on pdf, not having to take my laptop to school everyday is great for my back. The battery life great, it last for most of the day.

I held off buying an ipad until this one. Best buy had a good sale on it. I use it in my home and my wife likes to use it for facetime and shopping at the mall. If you can get it on sale it is worth it. I got the 16gb wi fi only version. I would get it again.

I've had the larger iPad for several years. On my third one actually. But I found holding it for long periods was causing pain in my arm and elbow. I thought I'd try the mini....I really love it. So much lighter and easier to take with me. Great purchase.

Overall, this is another great product from Apple. I really like the touch id and the image is sharp. I bought the 16 gig model, but it seems cramped for space. I guess with the built in Apps, it's hard to put all the apps like I have on my iphone on the ipad and not all are compatible. iCloud drive is also useful. Finally, if you can afford it, I would recommend the larger 32 gig drive and get the 3g option since the wifi is rather restricted without that option.

I love this thing its so convenient for school, i got a stylus pen so i can write a bunch of notes on it too, it's a great size so i can put it in my smallest handbags and still have space for other things and not have it weigh my shoulder doen either

The new iPad mini 3 is a pleasant surprise in terms of weight. The smaller screen is perfect if you carry your iPad aroud the house. In contrast, the older iPad 3 I find myself using only at one place because it now feels a lot heavier in comparison.
