It's more like a small computer that can be carried with me anywhere I go. Very easy to use and the screen is brilliant for HD films and viewing photos. Plus, battery life is really good too.

This is my first iPad. I was concerned about the battery life as my iPhone seems to drain pretty quick with quite a few apps downloaded but that doesn't seem to be a problem. Graphics and sound are very clear and loads fast. I love it!

I purchased this as a gift for my husband who decided to head back to college to finish. As an English major he can have multiple windows open looking up various references while at the same time completing a paper. Truly efficient and beats him carrying around legal pads and pens/highlighters.

Well I wish there was a tutorial from apple to highlight and demonstrate all the features this 32g I-PAD I purchased has. There isn'tr even an operating manual??!! I really feel I'm not using this technology to it's full potential. I know all the young techno's would'nt have a problem but us baby boomers are "techno-challenged and embarressed or intimidated" by all the "new" technology to ask for help w/out looking like a dummie by the younger ones.. I am "the wife" and "the husband" is scared to touch it (I-pad) that he might (screw some-thing up):) I HAVE assured him that he cannot to no avail. He will have to get over his fear in time... Thanks for the technology apple but please constantly think of us out in the boonies of technology and not close to large cities or having "kids" to show us.

I've been wanting an iPad for awhile and I'm glad I waited until they came out with the retina display. It is really sharp and clear. My husband who hates using our laptop enjoys the iPad. It is so much faster and easier to read.

    Better than nexus 10

Way better than nexus10 .Never liked apple . Hate iPod and just because everyone has apple , but the ipad 4 changed all that for me ,now I have more music on iTunes then my old computer lol. Better aps, runs smoother still super high def picture and way better camera . The only draw back is speaker is located on back and can be hard to hear sometimes in crowded areas but does get loud in a quiet room I guess lol. I was gunna buy a nexus 10 and was at the store ready to buy it and it may be better on paper but it feels cheap, wifi lags, not enough accessories , and tablet specific apps, bought ipad for work and so manny apps for the pro. Love ipad 4 , still don't like that everyone has one but its because they work so well and all other tables are judged by iPads looks and performance

This tablet is everything you come to expect from an Apple product. Nice large HD display, millions of apps, easy to use and update. I use it for movies when traveling, email, surfing the web and just about everything else.

Was looking for an updated replacement IPad. The IPad Air just came out but did not want to spend that much money, since I don't use it as a primary computer. Went to Best Buy and found an iPad2 that was deep discounted. Love this IPad2. Great retina display, fast processing speed.

    Apple convert...

Ok I'm not an Apple guy. My wife has a MacBook that I resisted buying, and I was honestly looking at a different tablet before I decided to get the iPad. For the record, I know quite a bit about networks, computers (build my own from components), customization, etc. I'm not a "I never dun' picked me up a 'puter before!" type of person. That being said, I took this out of the box, plugged it in to charge, and it took literally 3 minutes to customize and connect onto my network to start using it. It's incredibly intuitive to use, and at the end of a long day it's nice to have something that I turn on and it just works with no fuss or muss to setup. The iPad feels very solidly built. It's heavy, but not obnoxiously so. It sure beats the heck out of carrying 3-4 books at a time on a long plane flight. The cameras are both really nice, and the pictures come out great of my son. FaceTime is a great feature, and is super clear when you have a good network connection. We did the FT thing with my brother in California (who also bought one of these) and it looked like he was in the next room. The screen is absolutely gorgeous. I turn the brightness pretty far down and in doing so have watched half a season of Entourage on an airplane coming back from Japan. Even with a low brightness setting, it still looks phenomenal, and I liked it better than the guy next to me with a Samsung tablet turned all the way up. When the brightness is all the way up it is truly spectacular. The OS is very easy to navigate, and the touchscreen responds instantly. Some of the Android tablets I played around with had a noticeable lag, and having gotten used to how quickly my iPad responds the touch screen on my Black Berry phone drives me insane. The battery life is also really good. I have not run out of battery life yet, and have taken it on some pretty long international flights. Apps are great... there are a ton of free apps for everything from keeping my toddler entertained on an airplane to crunching spreadsheets. The one downside with this and all iPads is the lack of ability to expand the memory. With these products you are buying a snapshot in technology, and you have to accept that. As a result, I just manage the files a bit better. I won't leave the movies on there after I've watched them, and same with the books/music. I keep music on a separate device. Overall a great product. No buyers' remorse here.

I bought two 32GB, WiFi iPads for my 2 boys. Use with home WiFi and iPhone Personal Hot Spot. Prints wirelessly with "Printopia" download, a non-Apple product. I don't have an AirPrint capable printer. Display and photo quality are unbelievable. Processor speed in very fast.

Since I bought this product, I got in love with it! I primarily use it for school, easy to takes notes with when your on the go! Also easy to carry, and to hold. Excellent resolution for gaming if you're interested for gaming. I would recommend this device if you're a student or own a business, because its easy to handle and play with. It's worth every dollar spend on this device. I recommend to also download the following apps, bamboo and Evernote because these apps with facilitate your note taking; also a stylus pen. If you have an iPhone, you can sync your number into your iPad when registering, and you can send and receive text messages from it. Camera has a very good resolution when taking pictures and video. Overall, buy it!

My IPad is just what I wanted:I am no longer tied to the desk, it is lightweight, connects very quickly, and has been easy to learn. I thought I would need a keyboard, but have found the touch screen to be just fine. There are so many aps. I also like the Smart Cover.

Overall, I love Apple products. They are easy to use, I love how I can buy apps with the iTunes card instead of using my credit card. I love the Retina display because my personal priorities are with my pictures and I love how its like a laptop minus the keyboard.

I love my iPad so much. The pictures and the movies I watch it with are SO CLEAR! VERY FAST processor. I can tell because I also have an iPhone 4S and I used both to do Facebook. I can tell there's a difference. I have no regrets so far for the price I paid.

I love the iPad. The retina screen is beautiful and the battery life is solid, too. It's so nice to just take my iPad to class and not have to carry my Macbook around everywhere (which gets heavy after a while). I love it and the apps and features are great.
