Comes ready to use, set takes no time, battery life very good. camera & photos better than my iphone 4S...if you are using it for surfing-great just w/o word or similar apple substitute, cant do very much work on ipad, but sometimes that is a blessing!

This version of the iPad is really fast and responsive and I find that 16 gigs is just enough space for everything I need. I do not listen to music on the device but primarily use it for apps. It is great to commute with as it is so light. I am still trying to figure out a good workflow using programs like Dropbox and Google Drive. I find that on documents where formatting is important there are only a few free/cheap options for word processing apps but this is not really the issue with the device just things to consider. Overall, I am happy with the portability and the utility for so many tasks. Even one gig of internal storage for documents would be good though.

I had one of the 1st I pads and this one is far better in all aspects. The color quality, ease of maneuvering, the camera and the speed are the things I like best. I have recommended this product to several friends.

Apple's flagship product continues to impress. Excellent response time, beautiful graphics, fast processor, easy to use. Bot the Apple slim cover and this whole tablet is super thin, lightweight and good looking.

not a bad buy, but typical for the price you pay. Great display and easy to use once you learn the setup of the ipad. Applications are not so easy to match up for business purposes and you would be better off with the 4G instead of wi-fi. very light and compact and the camara takes amazing pictures. just not sure the macbook is not a better buy for the business side.

I have used other tablets and didn't buy the initial IPAD versions because of price compared to other tablets and because of its inability to print directly to my printers. Still think the price could come down, especially in order to get cell tower connectivity. However, now that I have one, I do like the size, great camera, ability to print to my wireless, sync with my other devices. and availability of wide range of apps.

I had to upgrade to the retina display after breaking my ipad2 (dropped it). I could have just repaired the old one but I used it as an excuse to upgrade. I definitely notice the better speed and the display is nice - I thought the ipad2 display was good too, though.. The big question is when ipad owners should upgrade. I was "forced" into it and it was worth it to me. Since we never know for sure when the next upgrade is coming, you may want to consider whether improved speed and a slightly better display is worth the investment. As for my rating, I love this new ipad and will take better care of it than my last one. I invested in the Otterbox defender case - great case, but daaaaaang that piece of plastic is expensive!

iPad is the gold standard for tablets! You can buy cheaper tablets or ones that are more technologically advanced, but none will do better a job at satisfying your needs! From the beautifiul display to the effortless interface and the elegance of the product itself, it's clear that this was made for people to use and enjoy! As a frequent traveler the iPad enables me to stay in touch with family via Face Time and meet my computing needs on something larger than a smartphone or without lugging a laptop along. I'm very happy with my iPad and glad that I got it at Best Buy!

I bought an iPad for pleasure use at home and for travel. I was really happy with how quickly I was able to set it up and get running. I have nothing but a positive review. I would recommend for any age and it is fine for kids or aging adults. The apps are easy to load and the speed of the computer is really good. Charge is quick. Battery is very lengthy. Positive review. Encourage purchase.

Having apple products, nothing is a surprise about this iPad. You can use it out of box with no instructions. It has a great screen that you notice immediately. Very fast and the battery life is great. My wife and I can not put it down. I do recommend the best buy protection plan. A little more expensive than apple store but covers more.

This is our 7th iPad in our family. My wife and I started out with them. We fell in love with them. The iPads just work! They sync all of our personal contacts, notes, calendars, music, books, bookmarks. The new 4th gen model is much faster and the retina display is great. It just makes sense to use something that works. We have never had an issue so the only thing I can comment about Apple Company is they have great iCloud servers, we backup to the cloud and have never used the restore feature except when we upgraded to a new iPad, restored all our settings to the new one, then gave our old ones to family members who still use them! You cannot go wrong with this new iPad.

Easy to set up and use, the new iPad has Retina display which is noticeably sharper than the original. Battery life is great. I recommend getting a Smart Cover or case to protect the iPad.

What needs to be said about iPad, its the best gadget of recent times. I bought the Wifi version to save on iPad cost and monthly carrier plan cost. Since it was a gift for my wife who usually likes something handy to browse and watch at home, this came as the best gift ever. Since most of the usage is at home we have never felt the need for cellular data plans. The screen is so awesome that now she has totally ditched our laptop and just enjoys using the iPad. It was really a wonderful purchase. Though the price could be cheaper since most of the tablets are available for half the price, I still dont regret this purchase which brought a smile on my wife's face.

The iPad is good for beginners because it is so easy to use. It takes wonderful pictures and is lightweight so you can take it anywhere. It can do anything a laptop can do and more.

This is my third iPad, and they just keep getting better. I couldn't immediately see any difference in the display when I first looked at the newest generation, but now that I have travelled the Web a bit more I can really see a difference. It feels like a spa for my eyes, it's so clear. It's slightly faster (although not enough to really matter if you don't care about these things), and apps run a bit more fully featured. On the "cons" side, I feel it's still too heavy to enjoy holding for long, and the case is very slippery. I don't like having a bulky cover on it, so I make myself be really careful in handling it so it doesn't crash to the ground.

This is out 3rd iPad, and by far the best. The display is amazing. Excellent battery life. Ease of use and Internet connectivity made this a perfect addition to our technology family.

My wife has been using a tower in her office upstairs. The I pad is convenient because she can do her work from any room in the house. It is great for traveling since we don't put any information on it so don't have to worry about security at hotels. We both also enjoy the games.

The iPad is amazing! Everything you have ever heard about it is true. It is fast, never crashes, and the screen is brilliant. I love the whole package! The only downsides have nothing to do with the actual item. I bought an anti-smudge screen protector for it that makes screen a little dull looking and adds a bit of glare. Also, it kind of sucks that the only two plans AT&T offers are either too little or too large for the megabytes (250MB or 3GB). But relative to the whole purchase I am very happy and satisfied.
