Got this iPad for my wife for her birthday, and she loves it. The iPad is replacing her nook, and she was able to carry over her B&N books over to the new device which was a pleasant surprise. She loves the iPad because it does almost everything she needs a computer for, and is much more portable than a laptop. Kids also love all the apps. All around great product, the only (slight) negative in my opinion is the proprietary apple chargers... not sure why they don't just update to micro USB.

This iPad was our fourth iPad purchase. The first one was for me, which was iPad 3rd Generation. And next three have been been the Retina Display as gifts and I must say they are really awesome. We all watch Netflix on them and of course play games. We do use them for face time. And music apps. I love it for when I travel and have flight delays. I get to watch movies while I wait. One thing I do know for sure is the one will be an upgrade for me. I can't wait for the iOS 7 update.

The iPad was easy to set up, and easy to use. My son enjoys the apps that he downloaded, and sometimes it's hard to get him off the tablet! We've only had it for a month or so, so we're both learning about its features and capabilities. The one drawback is that we've bumped up against the 16 GB limit, so I'm currently googling how to remove apps to create additional space.

Love the iPad. Great addition to my iPhone. Has great quality pictures. Enjoy using for games and for internet.

I went it to Best Buy to get my wife an inexpensive laptop. She is technically challenged but it was time for her to have her own gear. One of the sales people mentioned the idea of an iPad to me -- and I'm so glad he did. It was the obvious solution that I just didn't see. So easy to use and it does so many cool things. This is the iPad 4 and the retinal display is amazing.

I picked due to larger screen as it makes it easier to read and play games. I also purchased a wireless keyboard to tear through email responses. The cover I purchased is great and still small enough to take with and fits well in my purse or backpack for on the go use. I also use it to watch movies and live tv while away. The larger screen is clear and does not strains eyes. Sound quality is not too bad either. I set up to listen to music while outside.

iPads are just easy to use, reliable, amazing, and it's display is gorgeous. It's easy enough for kiddos but can be as tech-heavy as you want to make it. I'd recommend having Best Buy price match a store like microcenter - saves you around $40. Also, with so much cloud storage available (box, google drive, skydive, Dropbox, asus web storage, etc) I don't think most people need more than the 16 or 32 gb models. I'd prefer to save the money and use it for apps!

I am enjoying the iPad very much. It has a long battery life and a very bright and clear screen. It's easy to type on. The volume is very clear also. I am using it to check emails, Facebook, and search the web, much like I use my laptop, but this is so much more portable. I especially like it for Facetime and also for text messages. It's so much easier to type on than my iPhone. I took out the warranty because the screen is glass and could crack or shatter.

I'm biased regarding speed because I upgraded from an iPad 1. The 5gig network capability, retina display and increased horsepower make this a great machine. As an owner of iPad mini I would say a laminated glass cover onto the screen will be the next design touch.

The screen is beautiful. The apps are great. My only 2 negatives about the ipad are the fact that you have no other options but to use their adapters and the price is too high. I'd rather see a cheaper price point or keep the same price point but put in some more connectivity options, like HDMI or usb.

There are a lot of tablet choices out there but none of them compare to the Apple iPad. The Quality and Performance of the iPad is simply awesome and there is simply no better tablet.

iPad is easy to use, fast, great display with sharp and fast video and pictures. Great for reading newspapers, books, Internet browsing, email. Linked with my iphone and itune store apps. Some of the apps are not fully functional as on Internet and need to use Safari to get full functionality. No USB for transferring data. Text editing a bit clunky. At times large size can be a bit cumbersome to hold, although I do like the extra screen space.

IT IS EASY TO SET UP . IT IS EASY TO NAVIGATE, IT IS COMFORTABLE TO HOLD. IT HAS A VERY GOOD SOUND QUALITY. IT HAS A GREAT SCREEN SIZE. IT HAS A GREAT RESPONSIVE TOUCH SCREEN. IT HAS VARIETY OF APPS AVAILABLE. AND SHARP GRAPHICS. IT WOULD BE PERFECT FOR BUSINESS OR FUN AND GAMES. IT IS GOOD FOR STUDENTS AND FOR PARENTS WITH OR WITHOUT KIDS. I AM COMFORTABLE WITH THE TECHNOLOGY. IT IS GOOD FOR TRAVELER. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TO MY FRIENDS.

Got the iPad 4 with retina display as a gift. I am new to apple products and this is my favorite gift i have ever gotten, Very easy to use and I spend a lot of time using it. Takes great pictures and video. Sound is excellent and loud. I can use it to listen to my favorite radio station when I can't get a signal from my work radio. Be sure to buy a water proof/shock proof case for it. Overall I'm very satisfied with the iPad. Would recommend!

very cool tablet. i've had an iphone for a few years and this makes playing around on the phone seem inadequate. the definition of pictures and colors on the screen is amazing, the processor is fast. I highly recommend this ipad. will definitely continue to upgrade to new models as they come out.

If you are looking for a tablet that's user friendly especially those new to mobile devices this is in my opinion the best option because of how easy the operating system is setup. The retina display is like nothing else and displays such brilliant pictures and movies. Aside from not being able to use flash media I have no complaints about this device.

This was a Mothers Day gift, love Apple products. Easy to use, fast and great picture....love it!!!!

Bought for my 90 year old mother-in-law. She is loving it! She was able to start surfing the net and playing games immediately.

Looks fancy/delicate but surprisingly durable. Easy to use, excellent screen clarity and was elated to find out how many different things you can do on it...watch movies/videos, read books/magazines/newspapers, check email, listen to music, etc. It basically does everything. It's light enough in weight where I can easily take it with me when I go on trips or out in the community. Great product...very happy with my purchase.
