I love my iPad. If you are some who is always on the go, needs a big screen, and a all in one device then the iPad is the way to go...

I am a gadget freak and when the 1st generation came out I purchased one right away. It completely transformed the way that I do everything business and personal. However, there were some extreme limitations. When the second generation came out I did not need to upgrade as the screen quality did not increase and I did not see myself using the camera enough to jump. 3rd generation I bought because of screen and that is the main reason for purchase. I still cannot make phone calls from it, although you must purchase a cell number from your carrier in order to use it and are charged all the fees and taxes that go along with a number. I would like to just sit on the couch watching my TV and do all my work seamlessly on the Ipad and have everything work between each other as they advertise. However, I still cannot print to my printer from the Ipad, I must by a few choices that allow printing. However, those choices do not work for me. Also pages on the Ipad is not like pages in the desktop and they are not seamless. Nether is Imovie. The ability to upload and update the Ipad from the cloud or computer wirelessly is great. This IPad is 100% better than 1st generation but still has some tweaks that it could have to make it better.

I upgraded from a 1st gen iPad to this new 3rd gen. I was always a heavy iPad user, at home at work, for travel. With the amazing new display, this new version is the best device in the world for browsing my photos too. The display makes it better than ever for reading. I can read with it for hours on end without any sign of fatigue. My only problem is I am so addicted to this thing I have a hard time tearing myself away from it.

Easy to use. Like the slimmer size. Battery seems to stay charged a lot longer than the old iPad.

I used my iPad 1 both at home and in my plane. The sceen was barely visible in the plane but still readable when using a moving map display. The New iPad brightness and resolution is wonderful! No more looking over the top of my sunglasses to read my moving map anymore. The screen refresh rate is so much better with the faster processor. It's a keeper!

I had the iPad original and didn't think the 2 was worth it just for the camera. I got this (traded my old one in Best Buy) and was super surprised with the clarity of the screen. The speed is also a big +. I recommend this very much. I am still trying to figure out the problem with the "hot batteries" IT HAS NEVER HAPPENED. I am very, very happy with my new iPad -specially for business use -I sell Insurance.

I'm a professional writer and business owner, and this iPad has replaced my laptop for about 80% of my work (which means my laptop will enjoy a much longer life). Paired with Logitech's Solar Keyboard, it is even sufficient for working on my current book project while i'm overseas (and during the flight). The app selection is phenomenal. I use "Explain Everything" as a marker board in the class room, Dropbox for sharing folders, Evernote for capturing info, and can even edit MS Office docs with Quickoffice. It's also great when my brain is fried and I just want to watch a good movie. The retina screen resolution is incredible.

Love it. The display is fantastic and well worth the upgrade from an older iPad model. I know some will put a screen cover on the display but to me that distorts and takes away from the incredible sharpness.

This is the 3rd iPad I have owned and they just keep getting better with each new version. Many available apps both free and purchase. Great entertainment for all ages. Excellent to travel with.

Top of the line. A little pricey but I knew that going into it owning several iphones and the original Ipad. But truly......there is nothing on the market that even comes close.

I love this new iPad 3!!! I used to dislike checking email due to loading time, size of graphics, etc on my iPhone but this makes it fun, fast and so easy. For work, I downloaded an app for my remote server access and it worked like a charm first try. Which is allowing me to work remotely from home more. LOVE IT!

The iPad is an amazing device. I use it for everything now. I used to carry two laptops on business trips. One for business and one for personal use. Now that I have the iPad, my load is way lighter and I can do just about everything with it that I did on the laptop. A must have!

I really like the new iPad. Was having some issues with my calendar. I took it to apple and they hooked it up to something and said that I had some software crash. I took it home and restored it back to new on iTunes. Going to bring it back in to have it looked at to see if problems were fixed. All that said, I really do love the iPad. My son likes to play games on it and so do I in some down time. The calendar makes scheduling clients a breeze and I downloaded the numbers app to do spreadsheets. Works great.

Love it, love it, love it!!!! It has made an Apple fan of me. I use it for just about everything except printing and that is my own fault. I bought an HP AirPrint printer that turns out is not IPad compatible.

I had the original Ipad, upgraded to the Ipad 3....wow what a difference! Love it!

Overall, I love it! The "New IPAD" is wonderful. So convenient and light-weight - you can carry it everywhere!

IT'S THE BEST YET. THE CAMERA IS GREAT FOR VIDEO FACE TIME. TALKING TO FRIENDS FACE TO FACE WITH A GREAT CAMERA SEEMS TO MAKE BETTER COMMUNICATION

For my use case, the iPad easily replaced my laptop for both personal and business use.

As long as there are no major malfunctions in the foreseeable future, and if my kids don't break it(I bought the best buy warranty), this item should be an everyday necessity. That being said, there should be days where one extricates oneself from the electronic lifestyle. Works awesomely with HP printers/apps.

Must have business device. Takes the place of laptop and once you have mastered the quirks of Keynote it makes a great impromptu presentation device. I have added a number of serious file management programs (SugarSync, DropBox) and apps (PDF Expert, Quick Office). Not sure where computing goes from here.
