I upgraded to a 5S because my 4S was dying, the battery would only last a few hours and it would die anywhere between when I had 20 and 50% of the life left on the battery. I finally bit the bullet and upgraded, the battery life is much better although once it hits 20% it dies very quickly. The size is great, I like that its slim and can fit in a pocket. The sound is better than on the4S as well, I can hear people more clearly but it still leaves a little to be desired on the sound front. Its MUCH faster than my 4S and holds much more data. Just wish you got more data space on the cloud as I keep getting notifications that the cloud is full. I used it in Europe last week, it worked great although it took me a while to realize I had to turn roaming on to get it to recognize I was in another country, Verizon forgot to mention that. Big bonus, it was cheaper on Best Buy than at Verizon.

I upgraded to the iPhone 5s from the larger Samsung Galaxy Nexus and prefer its smaller size and the excellent Retina display. It's very easy to use the device with one hand. Call quality is excellent and the unit feels much more substantial and luxurious although the latter quality is not important to me. The device is a suitable replacement to my iPod Touch and sound quality with Apple Lossless is very good.

This phone is faster than my 4s. The camera is much better: clearer pics. Video has a slow motion feature that rivals pro edited footage. Lots of space on the 64gb. Siri sounds better. Faster processing in Apps. Bigger screen than 4s. Fingerprint security is swift and recent upgrade says bugs are fixed 7.0.3. Free Apple Works, iPhoto, iMovie, with iCloud. Gold, an envious color catches the eyes. Great smartphone.

I have been using the iPhone since the first model came out. My last model was the iPhone 4s that I had updated to the ios7 just to get a feel for the new software knowing I was going to get this phone. The 5s is much faster opening apps, and switching from one to the other. I didn't think I would like the fingerprint reader, but I found it so easy to use that I prefer it now compared to swiping the screen and heaven forbid typing in a pass-code. This phone is much lighter than my old iphone even though it is taller. I don't use a case because I just keep it in my pocket and don't like the bulk. The size still works great for me and feels very natural. This new phone has exceeded my expectations.

Great phone if updating the iPhone but not amazing. Love the camera with slowmo video and ease of transfer. While using the phone to talk the battery life is great but while surfing or using anything with the screen, the power consumption is a lot and won't last that long. Overall great phone and very fast with the new processor. The apple maps has improved over the past but still needs better route guidance capabilities. Easy to share everything with incorporated Facebook, twitter and airdrop.

I love the 5s. It's snappy, and the Touch ID is a great feature. Paired with one password makes the phone very secure.

This is a purchase I have been waiting on for years due to contract lengths and the iPhone not being available with that carrier. I have had the phone for a month and can't find anything that has not worked as expected. I am VERY happy with Verizon coverage in my area, I am VERY happy with the operation of the phone in every way. I have downloaded many apps and not had a single problem. I wish that the phone supported AirPlay with Netflix and Hulu - but that is not a problem with the phone. I thought I would not like the size of the screen since I was coming from a phone that had a bigger screen. Because the iPhone has such a clear display, I have to say I have not missed the extra screen real-estate. Once again - I am VERY happy with this purchase AND I am very happy with the purchase from BestBuy. They were knowledgable, helpful and friendly.

I've been an Android user for years, but finally bit the bullet and went with the iPhone 5s when it was time for an upgrade. I use Apple products for everything else and I now wish I would've went with the iPhone years ago since I use iTunes so much. It syncs up with my iPad, Mac, and Apple TV making everything so easy. Also, it doesn't seem to have the bugs and freezes that drove me nuts with my Android phones. The only thing with Apple is that everything they make is so expensive and I still have a hard time with the whole "we'll tell you what you want and you'll like it" stance that Apple takes. All in all, I am very happy with my phone so far and I will more than likely continue to be an iPhone user from now on.

This is the best iphone to date... Works great for business and every day stuff. The finger print lock is awesome and the phone is very fast. The 64 gig storage is fantastic for media. I use the maps app for nav as well as Garmin USA.

Great battery life, speed, and camera. It is well worth it to get the added disk space.

Love this phone! Speed and ease of internet access is terrific. Apps work well thanks to A7 processor. Upgraded flash allows me to take better pictures. Battery life far superior to that found on iPhone 4s.

Replaced my iPhone 4S. This one is smaller yet has a larger screen, lighter and more comfortable...faster too. Brilliant screen.

I use this all day at work and for personal use also. It is not to big, you can use it with just one hand. I never liked apple until 8 years ago, but everything I have bought still works fine. IPad, IPod, IPod touch which is the oldest and was used for work and personal before upgrading to smart phone.

I thought I wanted a phone with a bigger screen so I tried the Samsung g3. I came running back to the iphone 5s and Im glad I did. the fingerprint login and the video quality are fantastic. Love the compatability with my ipad and ipod. Samsung didn't offer that. The only downside if you can call it that is the screen isn't any bigger than my iphone 5 was. I own a Morphie juice to extend the battery life. The model for the iphone 5 fits the iphone 5s just fine. didn't have to buy a new version like I did going from the iphone 4s to the iphone 5

Best phone I've used. I was concerned because all the pundits were trying to write Apple off in the smartphone market prior to the release of the 5S. Now they are all eating their words! The 5S is blazing fast, perfectly sized for one hand use with a brilliant retina display that's easy to read in any light. The A7 processor is equivalent in power to a 2011 MacBook Air! Seriously overpowered for the device, but with lots of room for future use and updating. Love this phone! I've had all iPhones since the iPhone 3.

This phone is an upgrade from my iPhone 5. I originally was going to wait for next one to come out but I was worried about the resale value (which is usually ALWAYS great with apple products) because I was coming from a 32gb but wanted a 64gb. So, I went with the upgrade also because the iPhones were all $75 off the price. I don't think that it is a major enough upgrade to go from the iPhone 5 to the iPhone 5s, but it is noticeably faster than the iPhone 5 (which I love). Great phone though, but I only upgraded because I wanted to make sure that I didn't have to pay out of my own pocket to get the upgrade.

Picture quality great, lighter than the 4S. The phone is a little longer but slimmer. Maps and GPS improved with this phone.

I previously had an iPhone 4S. I loved the phone for its size. I went to an the 4S from a feature phone as I was tired of carrying my phone and an iPod touch. The 4S was good as long as I was on WiFi, but otherwise was a bit slow. My upgrade came up and I decided to go with a iPhone 5S as I like the size and functionality of the iPhone series. My phone functions; 1) as an iPod, 2) as a phone, 3) as a camera, 4) for email/social media. There are other smart devices out there that can do all of these things, but for me the iPhone does them the best for me. My battery easily gets me through a whole day of Spotify between WiFi and 4G, with email, text and social media interspersed. Physically the phone is perfect for my pockets.

I just upgraded from the iPhone 4s to the iPhone 5s (I had been holding out because I didn't want to change all of my charging cords or buy adapters). The phone is still just the right size that I can fit it in my scrubs pocket while I'm at work, or in my purse or jeans pocket when I'm out and about, even with the Zagg InvisibleShield Glass protector for the screen and an Otterbox Symmetry case for the body. The processor is much faster than my 4s and the pictures and videos are incredibly sharp and clear. My favorite feature of this phone, however, is the ability to unlock the screen simply using a fingerprint instead of having to type in the four-digit code each time.

This is a great upgrade from the iPhone 4S because of the 4g service, better camera, better speed, slightly nicer size
