The adapter is sleek and lightweight, making it easy to carry around. Its performance is impressive, providing a seamless connection between my iOS devices and external displays. The video and audio quality are excellent, allowing for clear and crisp presentations, streaming, and more. However, I did encounter some occasional issues with connection stability, which required unplugging and replugging the adapter. A more robust connection would enhance the user experience significantly. Despite this minor issue, the adapter has been a valuable addition to my tech accessories. Very cool and useful adaptor. It’s expensive but it’s worth it. It enables you to plug your phone into a tv or monitor. Great for projecting shows from your phone onto a big screen. Also useful for teachers projecting lessons, materials, books onto smart screen in class esp when school internet or laptop adaptor doesn’t work. Also charges phone while you project video which is key so you don’t run out of charge.

I use it to stream from my phone to the TV from various apps but it was a little blurry at first ,after a minute or two it would clear up.Make sure the settings are set for 1080 HD .I tried another adapter from amazon which needed to have both charging cable and HDMI to work it was horrible (overheated, blurry wouldn't show visuals only captions) and wouldn't stream anything so I was happy when the official adapter worked.You don't need to attach the charging cord when you have the HDMI hooked up unless you plan to stream for long time your battery will drain after a while.I can't remember if having your phone sleep/lock would be an issue but when you are using it just unlock your phone for the time being I know it locked with the amazon adapter and it was pretty annoying.I recommend this adapter if you can't afford the apple TV for mirroring purposes.My biggest con is the price.

Just what you need to mirror or steam from your iPhone to a screen with an HDMI port. Fairly easy to use and also has the ability to charge while using. HDMI cable and lightning cable sold separately.

I cut internet and this device lets me stream movies from my phone to tv with no wifi. It also wrks great to attach phone to other av equipment.

I don’t have WI-Fi in my apt simply because i don’t wanna pay for it & otherwise don’t need it that much. I can backup my phone elsewhere frequently enuf to where wifi in my apt is virtually unnecessary. But it’s sometimes a bit inconvenient to not have my own wifi at home. Only 2 weeks ago i finally, after many years, replaced my oldfashioned 20” Sony Trinitron TV i bought for $350 back in 2003!! So i finally have a modern Smart TV & one of the things i was excited to be able to do is view YouTube videos, my own photos & videos, etc from my iPhone to my big TV. I was told by the salespeople when i got my TV that it could not be done at all without WiFi, period. So i began thinking i’d need to forget it unless i got wifi. But thanks to a really friendly & brilliant sales guy named Ty in the Best Buy in Flower Mound, Tx, i found this wonderful little gadget! I discussed with Ty & he walked me over to the iPhone accessories & showed this to me. It’s over $50 so kindof expensive, but a brilliant little item that enables me to basically show my iPhone on my TV. Next i want to find an “extension cord” for my iPhone power cord so i can accomplish this from several ft away. But this is a great little item & works really well. It’s as fragile as most Apple cables are- so handle carefully, but works great. Plus, as Ty pointed out to me- it enables powering your phone by wall charger simultaneous to projecting onto your TV. So if you want to “mirror” your iPhone to your TV without needing Wi-Fi, this is your answer!

Could not do without this. When we stay at our vacation home, we do not have internet except by using our iPhones as personal hotspots. I can connect my iPhone to the tv using this adapter and an HDMI cable and stream programs through the various streaming apps on the iPhone. It has been an invaluable purchase.

Works as intended. I used it to connect to my car's entertainment system and the video/audio is clear with no lag. A bit pricey but reliable.

This lightning to HDMI Digital AV adapter is very simple to use, but does require a HDMI cable sold separately. Plug one end of the HDMI cable to your HD TV and the other end to the digital adapter. Plug the lightning end of the digital adapter to your iPhone or iPad and it's ready to go. Everything that would normally be viewed on your iPhone or iPad screen is now visible on your TV screen, it's that simple and works flawlessly. You can now view emails, safari, Netflix movies, photos and most of your apps all on your TV screen. Works amazingly well and great for travel, I love it!

Apple A/V adapter allows to connect your iPhone/iPad to any TV or projector equipped with HDMI input. It is rather expensive, but you really get what you pay for: it just works out of the box with zero initial installation/configuration required. Optionally, it allows you to charge your Apple gadget while transferring video+audio to TV or LCD or DLP projector. No power source required for basic functionality. In short words I'm hundred percent satisfied with this product.

This provides capability of streaming phone video to a large screen and being able to retain power via -USB. Video looks good on the big screen. It is a perfect choice when wanting to view video on big screen when streaming on the phone only is available. It is pricey (not unusual for Apple) but does work well and worth the cost for its functionality. Be aware, however that even with cable company and movie channel apps that some video is blocked from viewing on a larger than phone screen.

Have you ever been in a position of wanting to give a presentation with your iPad, but weren't really sure how to make it work? Then this Apple Lightning Digital A/V adapter is your answer. Just plug it in to your iPad (or iPhone or iPod Touch), connect to an HDMI monitor or TV and you'e instantly got output to that device. I use both Keynote and PowerPoint, and this adapter makes it easy to deliver a presentation. It's much more convenient to deliver the presentation from my iPad, rather than carrying around a laptop. I just tuck the adapter in my pocket, and when I'm ready to present, just plug it in. No waiting for a laptop to boot up. Plug it in, and instant presentation. I've found the adapter also transmits sound, so you can watch movies from your iPad on a TV--very handy for traveling! I also bought the VGA version of this same cable, since some conference rooms I go to don't have HDMI hookups. This one doesn't transfer sound, as VGA isn't sound capable, but handy nonetheless for presentations. The last thing I like is that the adapter includes a Lightning adapter next to the HDMI port, which can be used to charge the iPad while presenting. This is very handy for long presentations and movies, or just in case you forgot to charge and the battery was low.

This product makes sharing things from your phone really easy. I needed to share a video I created on my phone to a projector and this adapter allowed me to easily connect my phone to the HDMI cable. It created a seamless reflection without any delay in the screen mirroring. This product is pretty pricey but I have used it quite a bit and so I hope to continue to get my money’s worth.

I purchased this adapter so I could watch Netflix on my not-so-smart tv. Not only does this adapter allow the HDMI to hook up to my iPad, it also charges my iPad at the same time! That being said: forewarning that the adapter does need to be plugged into a power source and tv to work. Overall, the quality is perfect and much more convenient than watching on my iPad.

This worked out great! Plugs right into the iOS device (iPad or iPhone) and hook it up to an HDMI cable. The connection is basically a screencast if your phone - great for demonstrations, or you can use Keynote/PowerPoint/Google Docs to make a presentation with split screen views. No need to plug power into the lightning port, but it allows you to charge while using, not necessary for pushing the picture through the hdmi cable though.

Excellent product at a great price. This cable allows me to easily stream content from my IPhone to my HD TV. Glad I bought this!
