This is a great inexpensive entry into Apple computers. It's not the fastest and doesn't have a lot of memory or storage, but it's great for basic stuff if you're looking to have a discreet computer that's good looking. No optical drive so if you need one, look at a different model.

It's small, portable, out of the way, looks great, and runs great. So far so good, no complaints. I like the 4 USB ports and all the other basic ports, all on one side making it look super clean and not jumbled with cords.

Not my ideal setup however I had just sold my Macbook Pro in lieu for an iPad Air 2. It has 4gb of ram which is serviceable however the hard drive doesn't seem to have enough RPMS for what I use. This is a great entry for Mac OS X for new users. However this customer is left wanting more. To put it in perspective, I would need 16gb of RAM.

I highly recommend the Mac Mini for anyone looking to get a great desktop computer. It might not have the power of a full size Mac but it is no slouch and comes at a great price point. I use it for coding and it has been great. Also doesn't take up much real estate so it can be a great fit in any size workstation.

I'm using this as Home Theater and Mac in place of an Apple TV. There is just a lot more you can do with this over Apple TV. This would also be great as an entry level Mac. Just hook it up to the HDMI port on your existing TV. Very pleased!

I was going to build a similar device but decided to go with Apple. The Linux based OS and hardware works great. I am not using this for gaming or compiling code so it's perfect for web browsing, streaming media and other tasks that do not require a ton of memory, disk and CPU.

I've been building PCs for 20 years. First apple product I've purchased, very little learning curve, super small profile. It feels faster with everything I do except on good ole Microsoft software. Love it, even bought an iPad to use in conjunction, setup is smooth and easy to air drop between the two.

Was looking in store for a new computer, unfortunately Windows 8 didn't cut it, so i went for the Mac Mini. Small and very powerful unit, gets all the work done. Mostly use it for school such as running office, email, web browsing, etc.

Love the price, size and speed. For a person who is not interested in all bells and whistles. I can't afford the apple computers. So the mini has the best cost and I still get my Apple.

Don't expect a crazy fast powerful computer like the iMacs. The Mac mini is what it is. But still very reliable and useful - even I'm a business setting. We use this unit mounted to the back of our flat screens as a computer hook up to our tvs. Great for video conferencing solutions.

The Mac mini is a great standalone computer. It's compact but still powerful enough to run multiple programs. It is great computer for one from students surfing the web to parents streaming videos from Netflix.

The MAC Mini is just what I need to replace an outdated computer I use at my business. The only thing which would have made the product better would be to be able to add memory to the CPU (like earlier models of MAC Mini). Apple products are first rate!

I really loved the size and the look of this mac mini. It was extremely easy to install. My only difficulty with it was that I was unfamiliar with "Pages."

Purchased as a cheap HTPC that didn't look like a pc. It's a cute box. Build quality it great. However, internals are just a little weak. To make it more snappy, I replaced the internal HD with a SSD and it really helped. Now it's a good little machine for it's purpose (HTPC, Imessage in living room, etc). RAM is soldered on MB so if you buy this, you are stuck with 4GB. So, it will only be a light computer - very little you can upgrade (basically only the drive). Fine for light office. Do not try to run photoshop or other heavy software unless you are retired and have lots of time to burn! :)

Great memory, I bought is for my mom so she can use the tv as her screen and she loves it. A computer that was cheaper than buying a laptop.im even planning to buy one for myself. Really easy to set up

I have mac airbook, apple iPhones at home. Wanted to buy all in one desktop for kids. Kids were use to mac air book. I came across this mac mini price deal and quickly grabbed it. Now my family is apple family :)). The best part is all my systems are having home sharing. I do not have to buy separate s/w for each system. Pay price for 1 and share it with 5. Nice concept by apple saves lot of money.

This machine is really good after booting but the boot of el capitan seems slow for 4GB ram. Other than that the machine is awesome. really for the kids game and media server.

The Mac mini is a great little machine. This entry level machine is great for those wanting the Mac experience at a decent price.

Mac mini works great. Able to run windows 10 thru boot camp. Best of both worlds. Runs smooth. Windows takes a bit longer to load, but no big deal. Very happy with my purchase

The mini is the perfect Mac for the non-power user. Students, light users and anybody looking for a functional but not expensive computer will not be disappointed. It's a BYOMK&D (bring your own mouse, keyboard and display), but this flexibility allows you to attach a larger screen. The good news is that this computer does not require an Apple brand display - virtually any display will work with this model. That said, it's not the best choice for users working in memory-intensive graphics programs.
