The Mac Mini has all I need in Ram and storage and the nice compact size, but because it draws a lot of background usage my weak Internet can't keep up with it and I can't use it at times. I would be better off with a Mac laptop that I could move to better internet but it is past 30 days for a return. Therefore, I'm not too happy with I my choice of computer.

Great compact size and great performance. Fits perfectly in my limited space.

Nice computer and very fast and easy to connect to others devices

It's silent and quick, fast enough for most anything. The Mac Mini is basically a high end Mac laptop without the screen. I use it with a monitor I already had as a home computer. Excellent for video and audio work.

Amazing to be able to get a fast Mac product for a great price. The mini has an incredibly small footprint, plenty of ram and 3 3.0 USB inputs. I miss the DVD drive they used to include but I have a portable drive I got for my PC laptop. And the new Mac OS Yosemite is easy to use, unlike my Microsoft 8.0.

Have waited for the newest version of the mini mac. Very satisfied with small footprint and performance of unit. Replaced an aging pentium 4 that was used very little connected to a 24 inch monitor. Perfect replacement just provide keyboard and mouse.

I've had an iPad, and an iPhone for a long time and thought it might be time to switch to a Mac. I have been a windows user for so long I was concerned it would be too expensive to *start over* (all that software). But the truth is just about everything you need is already included in this Mac. It comes fully loaded with the software you probably use already (Mac products) but they are completly compatible with Microsoft. It's just so nice to get such amazing connectivity so that now all my devices are connected. It's not hard to learn a Mac and Apple support is great. You call talk to a real person and they spend as much time as needed to make everything work perfect. While unlimited technical and phone support is included, it's only for a short time. But you can always subscribe to Apple support to get as much as you need.

Great buy for the price. Easy to install, does not take up much space.

I was trying to avoid buying a computer and wanted to access what I had already using remote desktop programs. Nothing worked. There was either no sound or the delay was horrible. I bit the bullet the got an additional computer after all. This has solved my needs. It's fast, it loaded all my existing apps, and does exactly what I originally needed to do. Great product.

This is a beautifully designed little Mac. I know some people are complaining about some of Apple's choices with this Mac Mini, but I honestly can't complain a bit about it. It does exactly what I want it to do and it does it without problems. I was basically looking for a Mac to help with some of my You Tube video editing and it handles that just fine and doesn't take much room in my setup... and the space it does take is now populated with a very attractive little aluminum box. I really like the two Thunderbolt ports on this as opposed to the older Mini with a firewire and Thunderbolt. I wish that they had 6 USB 3 ports on the rear, but then again a 3.0 dock is available to remedy connectivity. So all in all I am very pleased with my purchase of this Mac Mini.

I have thought many times about getting a mini. I bought this to have as a spare computer along side my gaming desktop. Other than not being able to self upgrade memory from what I have read, this mini is great. It's very fast compared to how I thought it would be. Many applications I like for PC I can get for Mac. Plays Civ Beyond Earth beatifully. Glad I purchased.

What I have discovered about the mac is that it is both flexible and logical. It performs many tasks that my previous computer did not perform. Alex, one of the techs with best buy has been extremely helpful in setting up the computer and showing me many of the things that I can do. His patience and encouragement have really enhanced the learning experience.

Small yet powerful; good way to get into Mac OSX and not be disappointed with performance.

I bought this Mac Mini to replace my Mac Air which was running out of HD space. I also need more memory since my Mac Air was slowing down. I use this Mac Mini with my Thunderbolt monitor which has great graphics. This Mac Mini does everything my Mac Air can do just a little faster.

Small elegant but yet very powerful the best bang for your buck!

I have both PC based computers along with my Mac mini and enjoy them both for different reasons. Once learned the Mac mini is simpler to use for basic computing with a lot of useless apps from the Apple Store where there are far more useful apps for the PC although you have to understand far more about how a computer works to use some of them. To be fair I have spent many years working with PC based computers and just a couple of years with Apple computers. As I said at the beginning I like both PCs and Apple computers for different reasons and would recommend the Mac mini 8bg i-5 processor to anyone interested in learning how to use a computer and do productive work but also suggesting that the PCs have a far larger selection of quality applications and not just those that Apple wishes to allow and/or provide... Also, most of today's monitors support multiple types of input such as HDMI, DVI or the 15pin cable so for me I am using one monitor for two computers with one being a PC and the other being my Mac mini... Although I have more then two computers I really only use one at a time so it does not bother me to tell the display which one to select and I stay there for hours or days until I want to use the other one. e.g. I have a large monitor for two of my computers and flip between them... Lastly, for me a mouse is a mouse and I have a low cost wired USB mouse on my Mac mini but I do suggest you get an Apple small wired or wireless keyboard. If you don't want to pay around $99.00 for a new wireless one you can always get a refurbished used one but to make it work you will have to set it up in Bluetooth on the Mac mini. I used a USB PC keyboard until my used Apple keyboard arrived and used the PC keyboard to setup Bluetooth and once working I unplugged my USB keyboard and have been happy ever since...

I recently purchased this computer to replace my aging Mac. I am very glad to have it, and would recommend this computer to anyone. If you are not a Mac user, there may be some orientation period for you to really get how easy these are to use. The footprint on my desk is small, and the speed is fast enough to maneuver thru any internet ting you might want to do. I don't consider myself a gamer, so won't comment on the computer's performance there. My ususal photo, writing, storage, and presentations all,are exactly what I need them to be. The shipping dept for Best Buy did a poor job on shipping the computer from the store I got it from. Nonetheless, it arrived in a damaged box and somehow managed to plug in and work right away.

I purchased my first mac about 3 to 4 years ago. My family uses it in the living room. It is still working like new. The mac has not slowed down, no viruses, no spyware, etc.. I have been very pleased with my purchase that I bought this second mac computer and use it in my man cave. It's more pricey than a windows computer but well worth the price.

Easy setup.Delivers on speed and power. While I have used other Apple products (iPhones and iPad) this is my first time purchasing a Mac, This entry level Mac is a step up from the PCs I have used my entire life. It has a small footprint and is quiet. Love the app store and the built in photo editing software and office suite. Definitely a great buy.
