This is a very nice, light laptop. The speed is sufficient for our online learners. It is thinner than the pro. You’re able to do multiple things at once such as listen to music, work in google, check email, etc. It is responsive. Only negative is the chargers keep changing for apple. At least it comes with a charger! The price is affordable comparatively.

i have an iMac but never an Apple laptop, so this was a "BIG" deal and move. After comparing programs, battery life, weight, and fingerprint access, it was a no brainer. Athough I am retired, I still needed to take a laptop in my purse for research and travel. the back light on the keyboard, magic pad and graphics are awesome. I highly recommend this 2020 model.

If you don't edit 4k videos or play GPU-intensive games, the 2020 Macbook Air is the perfect laptop. The hardware and software are optimized for the best experience with media consumption such as watching videos, browsing the net and document processing. In my opinion, the 2020 MB Air has the best display and audio versus the competition in its segment of the market.

In the past I've tried to use Apple products and had very little success, mostly with the fingerprint recognition and touch capabilities but with this laptop so far it has been very responsive with the touch ID fingerprint for ignition and thus far very easy to use and somewhat user-friendly as I have learned but I'm sure I will pick up more and more as I go.

Great laptop for students, easy set up, perfect size and weight.

I bought this just as my "beat up" MacBook, because I did not want my MacBook Pro that I just purchased to get beat up and abused. This is very slight weight and I love that. I wish it had the full touchbar like my MacBook Pro has, but at leas this has the finger recognition to login. I never want another MacBook that does not have that touch ID function.

MacBook Air is a great laptop for basic tasks. The issue I ran into was the fan kicking on and being the loudest thing in the room. Not to mention how hot it got when on my lap. Was it annoying enough for me to return it? The answer is yes. The simple fact I had a brand new laptop overheating on me didn't give me confidence to keep it. I had to exchange it for the MacBook Pro base model. Haven't had the fan kick on yet with the Pro. If you're just going to be doing school work, web browsing, and video streaming you'll love the Air. If you need it for a little more, and I mean a little, then upgrade to the pro.

Amazing labtop.. Very lite, thin, fast, sexy looking

Bought this to use for work since working from home is the new normal now. It’s fast and easy to use. It’s an apple so I expected nothing less from it. It syncs well with my other Apple devices and I love that I can make dual screens with my iPad. It’s expensive but it’s an apple product so that’s nothing new but the over all laptop is great.

This was not as light as I thought but ok once you get use to it. I always had windows laptops and wanted to try a Mac. Price was good but it is an i3 processor however the new chips work very well. After a short learning period I was able to do must everything I could do on a pc. Not a gaming machine but fairly lively. Works well and long battery life.

This product is very good worked as expected. Also support multiple application at a time without any glitch. I personally use zoom meeting a lot but i don't like about mac it has be download from other site not from app store. same for google as well but i like keynote very much which is very cool feature.

I have been needing a personal computer and bought myself this one this holiday. It has worked for all my personal needs. It has not been difficult to learn to use and I have been able to complete all my required tasks. It also has a super clean and professional look to it. Cannot wait to buy the accessories to go along with my Mac.

On Youtube everyone is recommending to step up and purchase Core i5 version. At first glance just $100 more looks like a very rational amount for an upgrade from dual-core i3 to a quad-core i5. And you may think that is ok, if my tasks are heavier than just surfing internet and watching Netflix, I need to buy i5 version that will handle more serious things. Right? Wrong. Core i5 is more powerful, yes, but overall set up cannot handle even some of Apple Arcade games or more than 10 tabs open due to coolings system limitations. Laptop either getting too hot quickly or even shuts down. If you start complaining about it, everyone is saying to you that it is a MacBook Air and it's not designed for power users. So if this is the case, what's the point to purchase i5 version? I tell you, there is absolutely no reason to step up to i5. It WON'T give you more power simply because it can't manage it. So the choices are simple: if you want more power, you go with MB Pro/iMac, or even Mac mini (this is what I did). And if your tasks are basic, you go with basic MB Air with i3. That's why this basic Core i3 version is the best choice if someone's in the market for a MB Air. I needed more power on a budget, and I returned this MB Air and instead of purchasing Core i5 I went with Mac mini Core i5 that doesn't have any temperature throttling issues and has 6 cores compared to 4 cores. But I liked this MB Air very much, and I'll purchase this basic version sometime later on for light work on the go
