Applications open in a blink, I can run multiple large programs (like statistical software, Photoshop, and several browsers) without a single stutter, and best of all, the fanless design means it’s completely silent. My old laptop (Intel 5th generation Core i5) would scream and heat up after 30 minutes, but this Macbook Air remains cool and quiet, even under load. The battery life is the real magic trick. I consistently get 15 to 16 hours of mixed use (web browsing, video calls, word processing) on a single charge. It’s liberating to leave the charger at home. The Liquid Retina display is also stunning—bright, vibrant, and a pleasure for watching movies or reviewing creative work. The 13-inch model is surprisingly lightweight and slips into my bag easily.
