Arrived with no protection packaging, it was in a cardboard box with nothing else. After opening, I pulled the charger from the box. As I did, one of the “legs,” that pop out from the charger, to wrap the charging cord around, just fell off of the block, without touching it. Then once I began to set up the MacBook, I couldn’t complete the set up process because one letter on the keyboard won’t function, the letter B key. When I press the B key, I hear an error sound. I did do some research to try managing it myself. So I tried turning the unit off and on, as well as restarting it. I also tried to free and clean any debris beneath the B key. Nothing I tried, worked. What I’m most disappointing with, is it appears Best Buy can’t seem to be bothered to check each pre owned product before resale. The MacBook sent to me did not appear to be pre-owned. This product seems refurbished, which I specifically avoided ordering. Especially after doing my own research and reading the descriptions of preowned vs refurbished. I’m frustrated and I don’t understand why this keeps happening! Stop selling products that don’t work. Be better to your customers and stop wasting our time!

This came in the most perfect condition i was skeptical at first but once i unboxed it i just knew it was worth what i paid and more!! NO dents or scratches keys work perfectly i recommend you take the risk and buy it!!!

Minor scratches in the bottom, but so far it’s been working great :)

Purchase two of these for my sons for christmas. Arrived on time but physically damaged. As in corners smashed in, one of them wouldn't close properly. I was horrified at the look of disappointment on my son's faces but I assumed that this is what Best Buy means by "refurbished". One of the laptops wouldn't come on at all so I took that one back to exchange it. (We kept the second one because I thought that's what I payed for) When I tried to exchange the second laptop, the store I took it to and nowhere else in San Antonio them in stock so I had to just return it and go home and purchase another one online and have it shipped to me again. But we have to wait until January 11th for it to arrive in the mail and just hope that it's not damaged like the first one. My other son decided to go ahead and keep his although it is visibly smashed in the corners but he had already started using it by the time I realized that's not how it was supposed to arrive. Very disappointed in the service provided by Best Buy. Glad I was able to at least exchange it considering they didn't even send a receipt or any paperwork at all with the laptops. No manuals or anything.

Look, if you are buying something that says it is preowned or used, you can’t be surprised when it shows up and it’s got some wear & tear cosmetically. Best Buy wouldn’t sell it to you if it didn’t work. That being said, this is perfect for what I need it for. I really don’t use a computer much or care what it looks like but I wanted a MacBook because of the ease of use as everything else I have is apple. Didn’t want to pay $900 for a new one to use it once every other week. Turns on & works great. Would recommend to anyone who needs a laptop to use occasionally but doesn’t want to break the bank.

I haven't had any issues with the MacBook so far. I did upgrade the system. I did notice that the was like a scratch where it look like it was dropped at some point but no major issues.

A little slow you cannot connect iCloud with this version otherwise looks nice barely any scratches nice feel

Got it as a temporary replacement while my slightly newer and larger Apple MacBook Air 2017 gets repaired. I was impressed the excellent condition this laptop came with no scratches or dents anywhere. After a couple of days, it did start heating up especially when I played online games so I returned it and got a new Apple iPad instead which was even lower priced than the laptop. Very glad I did.

This laptop works perfectly for my daily needs. It’s fast, lightweight, and the battery lasts a long time. Setup was simple and everything runs smoothly. Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable computer.

It's working fairly well. Can be slow at times and freezes on occasion.

I have only had it for a few weeks but so far so good. I twas a little more expensive than other sites selling it.

i loved it, shipping was fast and it came with the charger and works great and it’s a really great price for someone that’s in school like me if you like your own computer this one is the great one.

I bought this for my daughter. I am a Mac user and my MacBook is from 2017 & works great still as this one does. Mac forever.

My only obvious issue with this specific product, is how is opens, with the clear intent of pinching the crap out of its buyers skin.
