I haven't always been an apple fan, but after some time with an iPad I decided if I was going to get a computer it would be an apple. After purchasing my MacBook Pro 13 3.1 ghz touch bar I instantly fell in love with it. It was so easy to set up, I never had to adjust any settings to make it work right, it just worked right after I signed in with my Apple ID. I use my computer primarily for school and it runs fast and reliable which is what I need. As much as I use to love windows, I can never see myself going back to a pc. I was even reluctant to get Microsoft office, but since I get it for free I did install it. NOW as far as hardware goes I am absolutely amazed. The touch bar is extremely useful, as sometimes I cant spell the words I attempt to type, it pops them up with correct spelling and I just tap to fill in whatever I was trying to type. A lot of new computers have touch screens, it seems the touch bar compensates for the usefulness of a touch screen without the added effort of having to clean fingerprints all of the time. The physical durability of the computer is amazing. I am in love with the solid state drive. I have accidentally dropped the computer against a table and into the floor and I really did expect it to be broken, but it turned out to work just fine with a small dent in the corner. There are just few nicks on the corners of my computer from the falls, but the computer continues to work great. Another noteworthy feature is the extremely loud and clear speakers which are amazing for such a small device. Overall the 2017 MacBook Pro 13 3.1 ghz is probably the best purchase I have made.

Before this product, I had a Macbook for 9 years. These laptops are made to last! I once was a PC user going thru laptops every 2-3 years because of how slow they would inevitably become. But once I made the switch to Mac, I really can't go back. This product and lightweight, sleek, and incredibly fast. I personally use it for surfing and school purposes. But I also use it to edit movies and record on Garageband. And boy, does this keep it. No slowing down, handles my work with ease. Best of all, fast startup/shutdown and long battery life. You will not regret a purchase like this.

I have absolutely fallen in love with this laptop. I've been in IT for the past 7 years and have been into computers all of my life. I grew up with Macs in school long ago and drifted away from Apple over the years as most do, but for the last 10 years I've alway been envious of MacBook owners. Well I finally got one and it hasn't been a disappointment at all. This laptop is fast as lightning, the OS is amazing, the hardware is sturdy and worth every penny, and it pairs perfectly with my 2 year old iPhone 6 plus. I still have a Windows PC (Sony Vaio) that is decked out but it never gets used now. This laptop has taken over my life. The capabilities and options available and the power is intoxicating. Apple really hit a homer with this laptop. P.S. Don't forget to grab a case (I recommend the inCase Snap Jacket from Best Buy), a USB dongle, and a Thunderbolt 3 hub for USB, Ethernet, and HDMI.

This MacBook Pro is absolutely beautiful. The screen quality is sharp and colors pop. It's fast and perfect, and the Touch Bar is pretty neat. My only two complaints are that it has only USB-C ports and doesn't have MagSafe (the snap-off charger). It takes some getting used to, but it really is worth the money.

Know that there is no upgrading once you’ve purchased it. Everything from battery, to RAM, to SSD is soldered in. Other than that, it is very snappy and fluid. The Touch Bar is not necessary but a welcome way to control things in, for example, Logic Pro. I imagine the TB is also great for video and visual programs. It is sleek and light. Other MacBook Pro users asked if it was an Air, it is so thin. Easy to carry around.

This Macbook pro is the perfect size as well as very thin. This makes it convenient to use while on the go. It is fast and lasts a long time. The only con is it does not have a USB port so you will have to buy an adapter to have one. Other than that it is great and the touch bar is great access for use. Highly recommend.

It is light, fast, easy to use. This is my first Apple PC. I've used other PCs over 25 years for work/personal use. Finally purchased a MAC after seeing the MacBook I bought for my daughter starting college in 2010--run without ANY issues all this time. I was needing my 3rd PC in the same amount of time.... This MacBook Pro w/touch bar is amazing. I purchased Apple Care because I really thought I would need help getting up and running and didn't want to bother my daughter (haven't needed to call Apple once since so easy to use). Also, I am a klutz and protection for 3 years really made me feel better about buying this higher priced PC. (no accidents yet). Both the Apple and Best Buy staff onsite were extremely knowledgeable and patient having answered my questions for days before I made my purchase. Have fun!!!

Just upgraded from an old MB Air to new MB Pro and I am very happy I made the move. The screen is awesome and the speed is amazing compared to what I am used to. I was skeptical about the touch bar but I really glad I made the choice to go with it. I travel a lot and the 13" size and weight are perfect. I highly recommend this machine!

I am already a big Apple products fan. When I first switched from a HP laptop to my first MacBook I finally understood why there is such a buzz around MacBooks vs any other brand (I already had vaio, HP and acer). It was so fast and would never get present problems. So mu husband gave me the new MacBook Pro 13" with the touch bar as an early Xmas gift and I thought that it couldn't get better then my old air but was a gift so... I was wrong! I don't know how to explain but yes, they improved what was already perfect! It's fast, either to turn on or off and also to load files, to connect to the internet and the touch bar is just such an useful tool that makes my life easier! Not mentioning the design with the new space gray color... looks so fancy! lol We decided to purchase at Best Bay because of past positive experiences and we didn't regret! I had a little trouble setting up my new macbook and their geek squad was promptly ready to help! I do recommend the product and also the services, always a pleasant experience w them! :)

New MAC Book Pro is very fast and easy to use. Touch bar is an amazing innovation and switches the context really fast. It’s very slim and light in weight, fits comfortably in hand. I love this product.

I was skeptical about the Touch Bar, however it is a very neat feature. As usual it is a powerful machine. Touch ID works even faster than in iPhones. For some reason the Retina Display seems sharper than previous models. Battery lasts about 12 hours in just typical situation, internet browsing, videos, running several programs. I updated from a MacBook 12, and it was the best decision. Since that model used to get too hot all the time. Hope this helps!

I have to say that this new MacBook Pro is sleek, fast and full of great new features like touchbar BUT, be prepared to stock up on adapters. At the very least you’ll need an adapter for USB input and forget about plugging your new lighting headphones in because there’s no spot for them either. From the minute I pulled it out of the box the reality of the Thunderbolt only ports hit me. I get it- but to not even have a lightning port for my APPLE headphones seems a bit silly. Stop making these exclusive ports or start including some standard adapters. With the $1800 price tag, I think you can afford to throw a Thunderbolt to USB in there. I would have given this 5 stars but the port situation is highly inconvenient.

I use to have a MacBook in 2008 than 2 years ago I needed to get a new laptop and being a broke college student I bought a Dell with an i7 processor and 8gb of ram with a 500gb hard drive. These were comparable to the MacBook Pros at the time minus maybe the HDD opposed to the SSD. Yet it was around 400 dollars cheaper, so I opted to, but the Dell and it lasted me ONLY 2 Years. It was a hard drive failure and I know that is the luck of the draw yet I should have know better than to have bought a hard drive. It also became really slow and had trouble doing some tasks that I thought was not out of expectations. I use my computer mostly for school work but from time to time light video editing. So I bought this MacBook Pro, and I could tell right away it was 10 times better. It is quiet and very powerful. I can now use better video editing software, and it can handle it with no problem. I love this computer I have had it for around a month and besides needing to buy dongles for the computer, It is perfect. I will be sticking will apple computers. Just pay the extra money and buy apple, I promise you it is worth it and will last you 5+ years opposed to 2 with most other computers. Take it from someone who use to sell and fix computers! Hopefully, this is helpful.

Purchased this for my girlfriend's birthday to use in graduate school. Says this is the best gift she has ever received. The touch bar is really convenient, battery life is excellent, and the processor is so much more powerful than her old HP Pavilion. Highly recommended, which means a lot coming from someone who owns ZERO Apple products.

This is by far the best laptop on the market. It is really fast and never has problem lagging during downloads depending on your wifi connection. The touch-bar can be unnecessary, but if you run art or editing programs that touch-bar is very useful, overfull if you want the touch-bar it is still very useful for basic programs like safari or google chrome. Overall the laptop is the best on the market and the 13 inch size is perfect for backpacks and carrying around and compared to the air or regular Macbook the performance is much better.

This machine exceeded every expectation! Best screen and speakers on any laptop. Everything is extremely quick and responsive. Industrial design is gorgeous. Battery lasts all day. Everything you could ever want in an ultra portable Apple laptop!

I really like this MacBook Pro. It is super thin and very light weight. It is very fast and the screen resolution its beautiful.The stereo sound coming from the speakers is fantastic! I have the one with the touch bar and really like the finger print function. The touch bar adds to the full experience. My only drawback would be the lack of ports and omission of the optical drive. I guess this was necessary because of how thin this Mac is. I for one would buy this Mac again especially because of the deal I got at Best Buy!

I’m a college student and just upgraded from a 2012 MacBook Pro. This one is so much faster and lighter. Was definitely questioning the touch bar but love it. It’s really cool and useful.
