Solid piece of equipment, no issues at all. HDMI port built in is a plus, as well as the 3 thunderbolt ports, and the lighting charging connector. Definitely on the pricey side, but this laptop is going to last me for years to come. I'd rather spend a lot now and not have to worry about it becoming outdated or slowing down in 2-3 years like I've had to with my computers that run on Windows.

Purchased for a computer science student. Takes a bit to get used to the MacOs and some programs from school require an extra step to use but overall, the laptop has great battery, is quick and can handle everything. It has enough memory that even given the price we trust it will last him the four years regardless of the work he may be thrown.

I'm a computer science student and freelance developer. It's great for what I need it for, building software, running Xcode, VSCode. The battery life is GREAT even when using my wireless keyboard and mouse.

From 4K video editing in Davinci Resolve to 3D rendering in Blender, this machine has proven to be speedy in every task. Miles better than my old windows machine at multitasking and running dual monitors. And it stays silent whike doing so. Very pleased with my purchase and I’d recommend this MacBook in a heartbeat.

I bought this because I needed a new laptop for school, but I also wanted to use it for videography. Video editing tends to take up a ton of storage, so this laptop has been perfect for all my needs, and I'm hoping it lasts me a very long time! Prior to this laptop I had always used a PC, so it has been a bit of an adjustment, but so far I like it!

Excellent value for the performance. My daughter is a design student and this was the recommended laptop. Its the standard most schools and companies have for an entry level workstation and it does everything she needs for photo / video editing and design work. The open box was in mint condition and Best Buy provided 2 years of apple care for less than buying from apple

I upgraded from my 2017 Macbook Pro and it was a great decision. I took advantage of the sale and purchased the 14-inch MacBook. I love how quiet it is and the battery life is great. Anyone with an older Macbook, do yourself a favor and upgrade. I can see myself using this MacBook for 5-10 years.

First laptop I received had a battery life of 3 hours... Returned it a week later and they were great about getting me a new one. Laptop works perfect and battery life is great! After only using windows laptops all my life, moving to apple is a big shift. So glad I got this cause the programs I use need a laptop with a lot of power and this does the job great.
