I made the move to Mac about a year ago with the purchase of a Mac Mini to go with my Windows and Linux machines (I develop SCADA software for manufacturing plants) - and it quickly became my full time machine. I then decided to go to a new MacBook Pro and I couldn’t be happier. I run it closed on my desk with 2 27” 4K monitors and grab it when I travel. I couldn’t be happier with it.

When I was looking I need a strong laptop and the Best Buy sales person showed me what I needed for what I was doing .

Apple continues to provide excellent computers. This new one is the best yet with a bigger screen and new touch pad.

I have been a Mac user for 13 years and have had several Macs over the years, and switching from a 13inch model that I had had for the past 3 years to this new model have really impressed me, as for speed, screen real state, ram, I can say that overall I am very satisfied with this purchase. It is a great investment.

I purchased this 15" MBP 2 years ago, the most current version at the time. The image quality, processing speed, Bluetooth connectivity, and speakers, have all been excellent! The battery life has been top notch. This has been my best laptop ever!

I’ve owned a PC my whole life and once my PC died on me (randomly) I decided to get a MacBook and decided why not just get the best MacBook available. I love it, it’s fast and battery life is incredible. I can multitask on the MacBook really fast and have no lag whatsoever. There’s a program you can download to turbo boost the CPU and unlock it to full potential and I’ve tried it a couple times but didn’t really see the need for it since it drained my battery quicker and my MacBook is lightning fast anyways. Apple puts a “overclock” lock on the CPU for battery purposes and I see why but I love that I can unlock that whenever I’m in need of heavy processing power. When I’m using Adobe Photoshop, Facebook and a few other applications I sometimes consider turbo boosting but my MacBook is so fast anyways that I don’t see the need for it. Although with Adobe apps and other apps open at the same time you will notice a huge battery drain compared to regular Facebook & email use since those other apps are graphic and CPU intensive apps.

This computer offers the portability of a laptop and the performance of a desktop computer. A great combination!

The MacBook 15" with touch bar is as advertised and everything I expected.

I bought this MacBook to replace my 2015 MacBook Pro 13" and I'm glad I did. I was very hesitant to purchase this laptop after reading the reviews of the keyboard, Touch Bar, and the limited ports but honestly, I am very glad I did. You can find more in depth reviews of this laptop elsewhere, so I'll keep this short... The keyboard is... fine, but it is loud. Compared to the 2015 model, this keyboard is SIGNIFICANTLY louder. If that doesn't bother you, then the keyboard is perfectly fine. The keys traffic a lot less which takes some getting used to. I use a dell keyboard at work (I use a PC at work, for work reasons... -_- ) with much more travel, but even after using that for hours a day, and then using this keyboard after work, still feels completely normal and isn't a major change (except the sound). The Touch Bar is surprisingly helpful and convenient if you don't write it off immediately. I read tons of reviews on how you can do things quicker with keyboard shortcuts, but I find it just as useful and quick. The ports don't bother me either. Yea, it would be nice to have USB 3 ports and a MagSafe charging port but the ability to charge from any port is great. Purchasing a USB C hub is a MUST. Make sure you get a quality one and it supports everything you need (HDMI, USB 3, SD, MircoSD, etc.). My only complaint is the battery life. It's not terrible, but I do feel like it's slightly worse than my 2015 13". All in all, this is a great machine that looks and performs even better.

Great computer. My favorite feature is the finger print button. Very fast speed and wonderul screen clarity.

I would never recommend this computer for casual use, but it's a pleasure to use for any task. The performance is snappy, graphics are sharp, and battery life is as advertised. It was hard to justify the price tag, but I'm hopeful the value will be returned through the life of the computer.

I bought pre Black Friday at $250 off special invitation plus $50 off for student deals since I’m going back to college at 27. I bought it to replace a hp from two years ago that had a free upgrade to Windows 10 online deal, bestbuy refused to substitute a computer in store for it and low and behold it was a dud, slow and never worked right after the upgrade. This MacBook Pro however is an amazing computer I compared them both side by side and I was online paying bills before my old laptop could even finish booting up. That’s including finding WiFi and getting The verification emails to log into my banking. I’m sure most of this has to do with the solid state drive and boy does it work! I’m still getting used to the apple user experience compared to windows, and now that the holidays are over I should have more time to play with it in depth. I highly recommend for anyone who needs a new laptop and if you can wait until there is a sale like mine I highly recommend, since ouch these are pricey.

I love this Mac. It’s my first one and it has to be my favorite laptop ever. The touch bar is a must!

Been an Apple fan for many years. I am a professional graphic designer and needed a laptop that would be able to handle my load of work. I am extremely impressed with the speed while working on a few large projects at once. Also, reasonably lightweight for the amount of power it has.

This is amazing, I love my Mac. So easy to use and love that all my apple product sync together!

I do a lot of production design for my business and this computer is awesome for illustrator, inDesign and photoshop. Plus I'm not stuck at home now and can work on the go. I do love the touchbar at the top, although I always forget to use it. Great computer. Plus its pretty too!

I’ve been a windows user my entire life before taking the plunge and getting this MacBook. I have had a few minor issues here and there but mostly things that were just nuances or differences in the OS that I needed to learn. I still don’t love that you can’t open the machine up and replace something if it fails. There’s also a few small OS quirks I’m not a fan of either but overall this is a very solid laptop for the price.

I have had this laptop for over a year and I have no complaints about it. I am not a very technical person but it has performed very well for me. I use it for school work and to edit pictures with PS and LR.

I have used the laptop for over a month now and I can feel the difference from Windows .Touch ID and the Touch pad makes a difference and the laptop feels worth for the money spent .It's very powerful and very smooth .I would definitely recommend it especially for programmers
