So much faster than my old (2012) MacBook Pro! It was super easy to transfer everything over to this new Mac. The touch unlock is a nice feature as is the spell check banner at the top of the keyboard. The display is crisp and clear. Battery life is awesome. Love the track pad too. Just a nice, slick machine.

This is by far the best computer that I have ever owned, its perfect my on the go lifestyle. I use it for editing pictures, 4k video, and school work. It does all of those things very nicely and makes editing the 4k footage extremely easy. The screen is the best I've seen, it helps with colors on my pictures and videos. The down side is the keyboard and the USB C plugs. The keyboard is extremely loud in my opinion and is taking some getting used too, I don't use it that much because I have it hooked thunderbolt display with a magic keyboard when I am doing most of my typing. There are ways around the USB C plugs, I purchased a thunderbolt 3 adapter from OMW that gives me all the extra plugs and ports that I am missing on this computer. If you don't mind dropping a little extra cash, the cons to this computer can be overcome with no problem. I have used Apple Products for a very long time, and its because they are the best when it comes to use for my personal and professional lifestyle.

Even 4 years later. Think about that. you’ll still be able to sell this computer close to the price you originally paid for it four years down the line. No other computer holds it value like the MacBook Pro. Not too many want to spend $3000 on a computer. But there’s a reason for it... they work. And keep working. Everything else is steaming garbage.

It's been 22 years since I last owned a Mac, as I administer Windows systems for a living and using those systems was always convenient seeing how my job provided them at no cost to me. However, I finally decided to go back to using a Mac at home and I'm glad I did. It's a gorgeous piece of machinery that is just simply designed well from the ground up. I love the feel of the keyboard, the beautiful screen, and now can't live without the context based OLED Touchbar -nice job Apple! I never had that feature on my Windows laptops, but now that I have it I can't do without it. Since purchasing it it's operated flawlessly, as Mac's typically do - the OS is clean, well organized, and operates smoothly in all aspects of use. I'm still getting used to it, but the Mac has always been intuitive, so the learning curve is not steep at all. Yes, this is a pricey laptop, but in the end you get what you pay for. I can't say it any simpler - this product is worth it.

Very fast computer, nice sized screen, SSD drive is so fast - boot time is seconds not minutes

This product is powerful, light, and easy to use. Just what you would expect from a rediculiously expencive laptop. Personally if i did not need the apple platform i would have got a much more powerful laptop for the same price by Microsoft. But its very nice.

Design is as usual very nice, as the performance. Screen is bright. The touch bar is nice to use. The regular size hard drive is kind of small. But the new Thunderbolt 3 ports requires to have several extra connectors.

Is a good apple laptop but I don’t like that it does not have TOUCH SCREEN, USB PORT and DVD-CD DRIVE. The cd or dvd drive you have to buy it separate. Also the touch bar is good but with touch screen like other brands brings it would be awesome if this laptop would off have it. One thing I really like was the TOUCH ID to unlock the computer and buy things with Apple Pay. There is alot of this that Apple still needs to catch up..

Graphics are awesome and it's a very fast laptop. The battery life is great too. Yes it's a bit more expensive but needed a good laptop so went with the MacBook Pro. It's very light too, which is a bonus.

This is my 3rd MacBook Pro - my most recent one to this was a 2011 model. I LOVE the touch bar. Took some slight adjusting to, but once I got the hang of it I can't imagine not having it. My favorite feature is being able to use my fingerprint (much like an iPhone) to manage secure things like passwords. It feels more secure, but easier! I also love how much lighter it is than my previous model (probably less than half the weight). Much easier to travel with. The solid state drive is also a plus - faster powering on, and I don't have to worry about the drive crashing as much as my last one (the reason why I needed to replace).

Battery life is surprisingly good. Huge improvements over previous models. Would be 5 star if they didn't remove USB ports ...
